Nock Academy Yoga

The Nock Academy is an amazing online fitness community. Their online classes are designed for any fitness level. Gareth will personally watch you and correct form and techniques to give you the maximum results. The Nock Academy gives you the personal touch big gyms don't. Both Nicky and Gareth are always available after class for questions and comments. Both truly do care about their clients.

Gareth and Nicky are well known to us back here in UK but we join the on-line sessions from home each week. These 2 are real nice guys, they know what they are doing and are the real deal. Join in, in person at their new studio or on-line and you wont be disappointed.

The Nock Academy provides wonderful classes that are fun, interesting and very effective. both Nicky and Gareth have over 20 years in the industry and they are extremely knowledgeable about fitness. They take it serious and make it fun. Each class is designed to be challenging and doable. And you just can't beat the convenience. I can't recommend Nock Academy enough!

Nicky delivered the course for my CPR recertification. Found her instruction to be the most enjoyable and thorough recert I have experienced to date. I got clarity on concepts I realized I had missed in past courses, and I felt engaged throughout the entire process. Pleased that she came with all the relevant equipment for the CPR mannequins including face shields and compatible plastic bags to simulate lungs. Will definitely book future recertification classes with her.

Nicky gave a great CPR and AED course. It was very informative and well structured. Nicky was enthusiastic and passionate about the topic, Fitness and Wellness.

I recently attended a CPR course with Nicky Nock from The Nock Academy. This was my first time attending a course with Nicky. The emails I received leading up to the course contained all pertinent info. Nicky's delivery of the course information was fantastic! I’m a fitness pro so I’m pretty particular about my coaches and instructors. Trust me when I say that Gareth and Nicky are the best. Workouts are challenging and beautifully designed and somehow also fun. Price is also fabulous…$5 per workout for me!

I have been a client of Nicky’s for several years. When the pandemic hit in spring 2020, along with everything else, regular workouts stopped and I lost much of the progress I had made over the years.It did take me a minute or two to embrace online training. I didn’t think it would be as effective as in-person training plus I wasn’t sure I had the self-discipline to maintain it. After several months, I finally signed up to do my fav class, Yogability, online. Yes, it was different but it was just as effective as doing it in-person because Nicky is a great coach in that she can direct you with words and demonstration but also watch you to give you constructive feedback.Since Nicky and Gareth have gone out on their own, I now participate in many of the other Nock Academy classes with both Nicky and Gareth including ones that I find challenging but move my fitness goals forward. I especially love how I can take a 30 minute break at lunchtime and feel totally re-energized afterwards. And best of all, the results are there.They have different types of classes and different programs. So if you are thinking that you need to move forward with your fitness journey, I would highly recommend the Nock Academy. They have a great app with reminders and on-line videos along with the scheduled classes. You don’t need a ton of time, space or even equipment. I’d highly recommend it!

Great in-person option with the new yoga studio. It's a comfortable, relaxing space to be in and I like that it's right downtown Stouffville. Nicky is an excellent instructor! Very warm, welcoming and non-judgmental. I also love the app - I find it easy to use!
