Dear Peel Region School Board, Rashmi Swarup, Director of Education & Secretary to the Board, and Stephen Lewis Staff,This message is regarding an event that took place on Thursday June 20th, at the Stephen Lewis Prom Event. There was a student who was kicked out of this event. This was due to her vaping in the female bathroom of this event. I am not writing to prove her innocence. I am writing this because I feel this isolated incident was done out of personal grudge the principal (Rajwant Gill) had against this student and not to truly enforce the rules of the event. First of all the nature in which this student was reprimanded in, seemed very unprofessional and aggressive. The principal barged into the female bathroom to check on this student where other students were using the washroom, the student could have been searched upon leaving the bathroom. There are multiple students who know the principal does not like this student prior to this event. Secondly, there were many other students who also brought vapes but were not removed from the venue, there was no checking in the male bathroom for this behaviour even though it was taking place to a higher degree in that vicinity. Finally this same issue occurs to a much higher degree in the hallways and classrooms of Stephen Lewis Secondary School for the past several years and there is little to none enforcement done about this. There are also bigger issues such as many students smoking marijuana at the back of the school (before legalization and even more now) these issues do not get tackled in the appropriate way. There is no mental health aid for student resorting to this. Once in a while they will just call the police on a student. Also there have been prior events in Stephen Lewis where students who were not liked by staff getting suspensions and expulsions which seemed like situation advantages to dish out these enforcements (i.e a student being at the scene of something negative but not actually taking part in the event). Not only was this student's prom night ruined it also ruined her friends prom night as they felt this was very aggressive and the principal was taking advantage of this situation due to prior dislike of this student. I am very disappointed in the way this situation was handled.

Today I attended the first lesson with Linda Pappas and I'm shocked.I would like to share my experience with this teacher.It seems to me that she doesn't clearly understand the purpose of teaching.After evaluation of her statements I can conclude next:- her lesson's atmosphere is built on fear, disrespect and demagogy about thing she doesn't have a right to talk about;- she pretends to be a psychologist but not a teacher of English;- she doesn't add knowledge;- she doesn't respect other people;- she sets herself higher than others;- some of her statements can be interpreted as racist, degrading or insulting.

Review for Maintenance Services South @ 933 Central Pkwy W. The 3 females in charge of 8 OA’s are highly toxic, the worst micromanaging control freaks, and treat the passive, post-menopausal workers like modern day slaves. The clueless white female “manager” believes OA’s in schools hand out band-aids all day, and the Polish one gets paid $113K/yr to stalk and harass office staff. The short Goan female spends all day doing NO work, instead delegating her job duties to others (she is also mannerless - constantly interrupts everyone’s conversations). They consistently make disparaging remarks about unions to unionized staff, mostly b/c unions interfere w/ their ability to control others exactly how they want. Avoid this place like the plague!!!

pdsb is a horrible school for children, only sign your kids up in this school if you want to ruin their future, this school has a liking to put kids with nothing wrong with them in vocal classes, and special classes for people who have mental disorders when the kids could be completely fine, I wish I could give this zero stars since it deserves none but that's not possible.They assume any child that has issues in class are mentally disabled even though the child has never been proven to be mentally challenged. My education life's been ruined by this school, my siblings, and friends could all say the same thing. I still question how this horrible school board is still open till this day.

Staff are super helpful

The PDSB was a terrible experience for me as a student myself, so if you're willing to ruin your child's education and to place them in a special ed" program even though they're not considered to be developmentally delayed

Hi! All parents. Did you all found peel borad so worse as i had a very bad experiance with the staff . They looks like they have pro lem with theor jibs or government or brown people. School is getting worse day by day.

I have been calls 10 times the transportation section and they put me in the line no one pickup the phoneAnd when I call again the peel district school board the lady told me ( you have been called 4 times and I can't help you, you have to wait in the line until they call you, I told her how they call me if they don't know my phone number she replays I mean you have to wait and don't call again that number, I said if they didn't answer what should I do and I'm patient and I have been waiting for one hour no answering!!!!!! Give me a help, she replied no mama I can't you have to wait)I'm soooo disappointed from theme this is my first time calling theme and see how they replied.I give one star because I have to put a reviewBut you don't deserve it at all.

Horrible experience! I called many times to ask school records of my daughter to apply for CIC application during summer break, First they kept forwarding my call and then they cut my call every time. Finally I tried from another number then they picked immediately. They don’t give any records of kids for their school attendance. I don’t know why offices showing open? Not polite at all.
