For what we can get as a chinese restaurant in Montreal, my expectations aren't that high. This one is okay.First, we booked a table for 15 but all the set menus for big tables stopped at 10 people. It's not the end of the world, but makes the process more complicated. So, we chose a few more dishes and not everything came out as expected. Some dishes were tastier than others. So it was like a roller coaster of flavours. The service is good and so is the ambiance.

Came here on a Saturday evening to celebrate a birthday, we had initially planned to go to Tong Por but the restaurant was fully booked for the evening. We called, and the lady who answered the phone was nice enough to accommodate us even though on open table the restaurant was fully booked , for context we were 10 ppl. We decided to have the 10 person set meal, at the time it was 388$, which is reasonable for what you are getting. The service was quick to the point it even felt a bit rushed, upon sitting down ordering and receiving most of the food it was the span of 25-30 mins. Food wise everything tasted pretty good, although might be a bit salty if you have elderly in your group. The servers were attentive for Chinese restaurant standards. We even asked the waiter to take a group picture, and although he was very busy, he took time to get 4 different angles, so it was very appreciative of his efforts. Overall everyone had a good time, only fault was really the condition of the washrooms, looked pretty dirty. Other then that would recommend checking out if your looking for some decent Chinese food in the Montreal area, as choices are limited.

Chinese restaurant serving traditional cantonese dishes. It’s nice to see that they’re expanding in Montreal as their other location in Chinatown moved to Brossard. Food was average but what makes it a 4 instead of 3 out of 5 is definitely the modern decor. Feels nice to be in a restaurant with a different vibe. The dishes were quick to arrive but the service non existent.

Good dim sum experience overall. Have enough parking. To avoid crowd during weekends, go earlier, eg., before 11am. Strong points: Dim sum are well-presented (especially the Har Gau, nicely made. That's how it should look like). Around $5-7 per serving/basket of dumplings; other larger dishes more expensive. Service also good. Decoration also nice. Teapot is good (why? Because it does not drip. Sometimes-often, teapots drip at restaurants, when pouring).Suggestion: restaurant can tell customers to not go between others' tables to access their own table. A bit annoying when one is eating and another person hits his/her chair.

[Sunday Dim Sum Review] It was okay. I expected it to be busy since it's a new location, but it was PACKED. Had to wait 30 minutes for a table of 4 when we arrived at 11am. Don't forget to take a number so they can call you when they go through the list".Food items were like the other locations

Really delightful experience. We went for the lunar new year and they had people in dragon costumes going around the restaurant. All of the food we had was amazing. You order on your phone with a QR code and they bring it to your table. Expect to be there for awhile, it took us about 2 hours. Love it, will definitely be back.

We've been trying to go there for the Dim Sum since opening, but it's always busy on weekends and I don't care how good a place is, I'm not waiting outside in the cold to eat.Let's start by the most important part, the food. The food is as good as Chinese food gets in Montreal. I have nothing to complain about here. The portions are generous and the cooks clearly know what they are doing. Everything we ordered was tasty.Service : we were seated by a gentleman who showed us our table and left. We sat there 20 minutes waiting for menus. Turns out they are living in the future or we're living in the last century. The menu was on a little 10 cm x 10 cm piece of receipt paper that was lying on our table. We had to scan the QR code on that tiny paper. I honestly wasn't sure if I had to just read the menu online and order with a waiter or order through my phone. I waiter another 15 minutes without being addressed by anyone to figure out it was the latter.Once ordered, the food came out quite quickly. They are very efficient.

As a Toronto transplant, I was very excited to try a new Chinese restaurant in West Island. The atmosphere is very grand and well done. However, that's all the praise I got for this restaurant. The food is good compared to what's around ... but that's not saying much. The menu is more modern than Peking (stuck in the 80s) but the problem is when and if you get your food. While we were there, the restaurant was half full. Several earlier tables were visibly frustrated about not getting their food. The staff was constantly apologizing. I feel for them as they're probably under staffed.Food is good, but service is frustrating. Will try again in a month. It's too bad as I was hoping this would be the new standard for West Island / Montreal.Update in a month.

Came here to celebrate two birthdays. Reserved for a table of 8 on a Monday for Saturday night. Even called back 2 min after to confirm a small detail. Showed up with family and they didn't have my reservation. They were nice enough to put 2 tables together as the place was fully booked Feb 18 2023. There seemed to be only 4 waiters and 2 ladies whose purpose was to push a cart to deliver the food you ordered. We asked for water and it never arrived. They brought the soup but no soup bowls or soup spoons to eat it with. They were immensely short staffed. The owner wasn't friendly or helpful. We saw two tables of customers walk out after they waited over 30 minutes for someone to take their order. Was the bad service and lack of ambience worth it for the food? Not really. Don't recommend for customers to come here until they ironed out their issues. We brought 2 birthday cakes (one was ice cream cake) and our waiter was too busy to deal with it. He told me to leave it on the counter and he will take care if it. Poor guy was busy fighting fires and dealing with a long waiting line of customers at the door. Wondering why owner didn't hire a restaurant manager...didn't see one. The dining room is huge, estimated easily 30 tables of 8 people at 6 pm waiting for service from 4 wait staff and more comming through the door. We asked one of the cart ladies for soup spooning she said that's not my job, ask your waiter. We never saw our waiter again after he took our order. I asked hubby to take the cakes to the car because it was melting on the counter at the bar. The staff never noticed it was gone. An angry customer at a table of 8 with young kids blasted the server for ignoring them and serving others who arrived later. I don't blame him one bit. When food finally arrived after 1 hour, they were still waiting. When the restaurant emptied out at 8 pm, the angey table finally got their soup (2 hrs + after they arrived to the restaurant). I would not recommend to come here for any celebrations, the atmosphere and service will ruin it. Only come here if you love bad service, lack of atmosphere and long wait. Suggest to wait a few months and hope they've ironed out their issues by then and then read dinner reviews from others who came in a big group. Oh, and I fully expect the owner to lambast my honest review. Please enjoy these beautiful pictures of food. What happened to the cakes? We took them home to eat them with family...we didn't want to stay any longer than we had too. The meal was 388.00 and with tax and tip it was over 500.00 for 8 people (sooo, almost $50/dish for 8 dishes). Up to you to decide if that is worth it. A plus is portion size was generous but that's because the menu was for 10 people.

We went for dinner on Wednesday and the restaurant is around half seated. We still wait for 50 min to get our dishes. The food is okay. The environment is good, probably the best in Chinese restaurants in West Island. We sent for dim sum another time. The food is tasty and the service improved a lot.
