Pedi N Nails Barrie

It was my first visit to this place - and the LAST one. I made an appointment two days before visiting salon and asked about pedi and mani. Came five minutes before my time and was waiting for 15 minutes to be seated for the pedicure. The only man working there was really good with it, but after that he said he didn't do manicure and asked me if I'm okay with another person working with me. Of course I agreed, was waiting for another 25 minutes and all three ladies were busy with somebody else, who came later than me. Sorry, mani and pedi should be no longer than 1.5 hours, right? And it looks like I'd be waiting for at least another twenty minutes. So I left, not in the best moods, as it's the first time I'm left without a manicure on my birthday. If you can spend the whole day waiting then it's right place for you.

I have been coming here for a long time, but will no longer return. It has happened to me twice now that they are busy but still take appointments so the owner (an older gentleman) decided to do my nails himself. It took nearly two hours for a simple manicure shellac and the results were embarrassing. Will be going somewhere else to get them redone.

65$ dip set didn't even last 5 days. When I went back for a repair since 3 broke off they charged me. They never mentioned this when I called, I also had to wait 20mins from my appointment time to start. To add: I don't do labor intensive work, I type and 3 nails came off. I have never had such poor quality nails or service.

Been here multiple times, a few of the girls are absolutely fantastic. There is one girl in particular I love going to she’s great and always takes yours thoughts into consideration. Every time I have gone in lately she has been busy (not surprised she’s the best!!) I have been going with whatever girl is available to give everyone a shot!! Most have been very good up until today. I asked for my French tips to be removed and have my nails trimmed and put back on. She was so ruff that she managed to break one of my nails in the process. She tried to do the French tips multiple times every time they were thick, slanted and every finger had a different shape to it. I finally just told her nicely to take it off and just do a full colour. Keep in mind the full colour also looks horrible, sides of my nail don’t even have polish, blobs of polish at the end of my nail. If I do decide to go back I will be very honest about who I want and if they’re not available I will walk back out. Or find a new salon all together. Not impressed.

Such a nice environment, the lady who helped me got me in the same day and she was so kind. I don't have the best looking feet and to go somewhere where they are not snickering back and forth bad mouthing your insecurities is 1 in a million, I felt so appreciated and un embarrassed as I usually don't get pedis for this reason. I had a few scraps on my fingers or toes and she was so careful and kept asking if it was okay and making sure I was comfortable. Got a full set and a pedi within a hour and a half and this is the first time I actually got the shape I desired on my hands as I have wider nail beds. I will be coming back again and again Thank you ( this photo is 2 weeks growth)

It was nice to see they were trying to be out early on a long weekend. I only booked the a pedi but she stayed and gave me a mani.

Not recommended, place was dirty, tools were unsterilized,. When I said you are not going to use those on me, technician poured solution into a dirty shot glass, . All and all I am concerned about there attention to cleanliness and professional attention to proper care of their establishment and equipment.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the worst nail salon I’d ever been to. The rudest people. While she was filling off the shellac she cut me and said it was “fine” while for me it was painful and bleeding and when I went to look she pulled my hand back. The rudest woman I have ever encountered. A few days go by and I’m treating my finger and had it looked at turned out to be a fungal infection. Save yourself from this place.
