I was stuck in a circular nightmare when a clown I hired to find a sewage-gas leak in my apartment soaked the inside of my drywall with a chemical deodorizer rendering my condo unliveable. My strata was unsympathetic, the management company was aggressive, and I was stuck surfing couches for over 6 months. I phoned a number of remediation companies, none of whom were willing to take on the job as they had heard about similar situations and said that it was very unlikely they would be able to help. Puroclean was my last hope. They should have been my first call.Peter, the project manager, was sympathetic to my plight, professional to a tee, and undertook the problem in a step-by-step manner that showed he absolutely knew what he was doing and that he didn't want the situation to cost any more than was necessary. He kept me up to date daily, was able to clearly communicate every step in a way that made sense, and was generally confidence inspiring.Yiar, the technician who did the physical work, was also incredibly competent and professional and dealt with an aggressive, racist neighbour with grace that was well beyond the call of duty.It may sound like an overstatement but Puroclean literally saved my sanity. I thought I was going to be stuck with an unliveable, unsellable, condominium but, using his connections in the industry, Peter was eventually able to fix what most had considered a lost cause. I could not be more thankful and I cannot recommend them more highly.

We opened a claim with insurance company last August and they had PuroClean do repairs in our 450 sq ft apt in November. They addressed water damage on cabinets and the wall behind caused by a leak from neighbour’s dishwasher. It’s been now 6 months since this company started work in our apartment and the project has not yet been completed.- The deadlines were postponed many times due to unforeseen damages, lack of management and lack of communication between employees and contractors- Not all the contents were out during the restoration and that caused damage to the content left behind- The project manager only visited our unit twice and only when we complained about the unfinished scheduleWe spent more than 2 months outside home and lost income on our small business because of it. Not only they did not care about timelines and doing a professional work they instead called the unfinished apartment “livable” and referred to deficiencies inside cabinets and floor as “aesthetics”. They put blame on everyone other than their own team and people work with them for the actions done irresponsibly.If you work with this company through your insurance hopefully you have a good experience and not like ours. I highly encourage before leaving your property take as many pictures as you can from the contents, make sure you have proof of your appliances work properly before you leave, record videos, document everything and be present at the job site if you can… You will surely need proof and lots of it when it comes to realizing that they damaged your property and it is so easy for them to get in a denial of that. You will need proof to defend your customer rights.Fast forward to today, the deficiencies are still there, so we had enough of dealing with their promises, lost money, and our patience so we decided to finish the remaining job ourselves.

Puroclean just finished restoring my home after a pretty horrendous sewage backup. From incident to moving home the process took just about two months. Throughout this time the team, project-managed by Daniel, were responsive, helpful and professional. They worked with me on details for insurance, explained each step of the process, and brought in great people to manage response, cleaning, painting, plumbing and tiling. I wouldn't wish this situation on anyone but would recommend this Puroclean location if it happens to you.

Hi, I had a flood that come from my neighbour at 3am and Puroclean were with me by 8am that morning. Daniel Eccleton was the representative. Both he and his team were extremely efficient, professional, kind, patient with answering all my questions during a stressful time and an absolute delight to deal with. I can highly recommend Peter and his team. Peter was incredibly professional and responsive throughout the entire project, which involved the restoration of water and mould damage caused by a leak in the basement. I was especially grateful to Peter for managing the entire project so expertly and always keeping me in the loop as I was not in Vancouver for the duration of this project. As a bonus, PuroClean has a very good reputation among insurance companies, and they were able to facilitate my insurance claim. Exceptional service and an excellent experience overall!
