Super happy with the service. Was in a bad position. Truck batt was totally dead. Called in at 5:30pm to see about getting a replacement. Gentleman said he'd keep open till I got there. Made it for 6:20pm. What a life saver for taking out his time to help me. Will be going back to get a second battery for the other side. Great place and great service.

I'm 100% certain that Acme Battery has been in business serving customers for over 50 years and probably did a great job - but I am also 100% certain that the owner of this company have no idea as to the HORRIBLE ATTITUDE of the Phone Staff on the counter sales talking to Customers! Wow - what a TERRIBLE attitude - told me everything that's he's challenged with in Life/Work and also took the time to tell me they have NO IDEA how and when they will deliver the battery's I would like to order for $299 each! So I left it at you call me when you have time" to sell batteries or get through your problems at work!! I'd rather pay double than deal with someone who doesn't want to BE ALIVE !!"

Their batteries last a year-tops.Truck battery- lasted one year and they took the sticker off showing the date purchased. They told me I took it off. Went to the GM dealer and purchased a new one.Dirt bike battery- 4 months and I replaced it with a battery I purchased from Honda dealer.Motorcycle battery- 5 months so far but I don't expect good things. Will go to Honda again for a new battery.This place is brutal for batteries. I can't belive I once recommended it.

We have shopped with them before, got a decent deal. However, we found the sales agents arrogance to be outlandish. Requests for multiple bills was turned down, seemed as they had no time for us etc. The wrong product was given, drove back to the store, Attitude did not improve. The agent gave no apology for giving the wrong product and charged higher than quoted. Suppliers are suppliers, but dont expect service with a smile here folks.

Better than Canadian Tire for Batteries of all kinds. At least 20% cheaper and they are locally behind their warranties similar to large chain stores.

Bought a battery from them last Jan and battery doesn't hold a good charge anymore. Neg battery terminal had white crusty corrosion all over it. As if it were leaking acid. Called about it and they want battery for 3 or 4 days to test. Battery can be tested in 5 mins at Canadian Tire or anyplace like that. Guy told me he doesn't give out free batteries. If battery is defective aReplacement should be given imo. I highly recommend buying a brand new battery rather than buying their junk refurbished" batteries."
