Algonquin East Animal Clinic
I called today to get my very sick dog in for an appointment. My dog had been to the clinic years ago but still has a chart there. The woman I spoke with was VERY rude and abrasive. I understand that they are busy and not taking on “new” patients but there is a way to speak with people and this is definitely not it. The lack of customer service and common courtesy is appalling. I would not recommend this clinic.

We have been going to her for the past 10 years! The staff and vet are phenomenal with our pets! We have been treated so well during an emergency, Ann was so compassionate and the staff so understanding and very accommodating. Any time we have concerns or questions they call back promptly and provide all the information we need. Thanks Algonquin East!

Algonquin East Animal Clinic
We have consistently received excellent care for all our dogs and cat. The whole staff obviously love animals. Dr. Ann takes the time to put our dogs at ease and truly listens to us when we explain what is going on. Your animals are in good hands in this clinic.

Absolutely do NOT use this vet ... Dr. Ann had treated our dogs for the past 6 years when she had availability. Her staff hung up the phone on me today as I was inquiring about the cost for euthanizing one of our dogs. She was very rude in her tone and manner as she told me I was wasting their time by calling them. So of course, now I am sobbing. Fortunately both Madawaska Valley Mobile Veterinary Services and Faraday Animal Hospital have offered their services and are very understanding.

Dr Anne, Kim and the rest of the staff are one of a kind when it come to my pups, Truly a compassionate group of animal lovers ,We can not say enough of how we have always been treated by these wonderful professionals.

Algonquin East Animal Clinic
Tried to become a client for two years, here. I understand if they are understaffed or overbooked, but their response and conversations to me over the phone were always rushed and rude. Always problematic to order speciality pet food from them and when I called to have my cat put down (since the next vet is an hour away) they refused because again... I wasn't a client.Thanks for your help - I would recommend Faraday Animal Hospital in Bancroft over this vet, any day. Always friendly and always had time for us - worth the drive.

Amazing care by Dr Ann for many years and several past dogs. After those dogs passed they wouldn’t see the new dogs. Not even for emergencies. Staff was extremely rude about this. Every other clinic we spoke to said they would retain their clients. Now we travel to see a vet and will continue to do so

When my pet patigonian needed help and other vets turned me away! Dr. Ann saved the day. I am happy to say that patty cake is home and recuperating thanks too the team at Algonquin East animal hospital
