We had a wonderful lunch at Chez Ma Tante last week. The hotdogs are absolutely delicious — grilled to perfection! The poutine was wonderful. There is great outdoor seating. Most of all, the staff was so nice - especially to our young daughter. They even gave her an awesome t-shirt. Don’t miss it when you’re in Montreal!

I went there after seeing the Google review, and the taste and kindness were the best.The coleslaw on top of the hot dog gives a refreshing taste for the next bite. Putin was simple original style but it was really delicious. I love the gravy sauce. The staff and the boss were very friendly.

One of a kind hot dogs. Giving 1 star for service because they are asking for a tip without any table service. They don't even have any tables for that matter. The lady at the drive through looked at me with big beaty eyes because I did not leave a tip! Go figure!!!

Food was delicious don’t get me wrong.. However the service at the drive through was horrible, the lady serving us at the window was so rude when i was asking questions since it was my first time coming here to eat. Don’t understand where the attitude was coming from since i just asked what the best hotdog topping was and i got the answer “we only have one type of hotdog”. Anyways will definitely not be coming back because of that

Can't go wrong for hot dog, fries or poutine... Want something else, go elsewhere! Love the old style counter, ultra fast service, affordable prices. In and out in less then 10 minutes. Love it!

This the best fast food restaurant you will eat in Montreal, Clean clean nice happy people serving you , food is always hot the fries are fresh cut wow and cooking old style and there big steamy hot dogs with great delicious cabbage and best price in town and parking, you could go there anytime of the day and they close a 4am in the morning wow.

This place is so unique, You have to go for yourself to discover. Everybody is extremely polite, gives you a strong Québécois-Canadian vibe, and the food is very simple and classic. Can never go wrong with a spaghetti sauce hot dog now, can you?

I'm a native from Montreal ihave mover to Florida 50 years ago. I remember when I was young going to this place for the best hot dogs and fries . To this day I'm very happy to know that this place is still going strong for over 90 years!!!! And the food is still the best in Montreal without a doubt you will not find a better place to eat a great hot dog. But let me be clear it's dose not have a large menu but I Guarantee you will enjoy this place like I do every year I come home. Thank you for not changing and keeping the Nostalgic look and the taste I can always know it's the best

First time here, decided to try it after hearing about it. Place has been around since 1929. Overall pretty good, the food was good although the poutine portions a little small for the price. The decor is cool as they've kept it pretty original dating back to the 20's. We also liked the outdoor seating on the picnic tables. I would recommend them but be prepared to pay, the menu is not cheap considering this is hot dogs and fries.
