The Docks Driving Range
The manager was probably the most arrogant person I've dealt with in a long time and I usually avoid confrontation. At the desk, there was a sign showing peak price for 30 min and for 1 hour. I highlighted that I was being charged more than the peak price per hour on the sign in front of the cash. The manager told me that the person who help me at the beginning should have told me the correct price. I said that was irrelevant because of the sign shows the price. The arrogant manager said it was not a sign issue but one of his staff not doing their job, and asked me to point out the person who served me so he could fire her (probably joking but I pity those who work for him). Of course I refused, and he said that I was the problem because he wasn't able to deal with the issue with the staff. I simply said it was a management issue not having the correct prices listed and I left. If the manager should have simply acknowledge the error and say he would fix the sign or remove it I would have accepted it. But now I'll never go back there.

This place is wayyy too expensive for what it offers. It’s a driving range, so there’s not too much that can really be bad about it. It’s just a place to hit balls. My friend and I went for just over an hour, had 3 drinks and the total bill was $90. This just seems ludicrous for an average range.

Driving range is about 300 yards long. You do pay a downtown premium and a by the minute rate. Nice that's it's a licensed area with decent seating. You don't necessarily need one platform per person and are able to share. Good netting to protect parking lot.

This review is for the golf lessons with Mike Rivet. A friend and I purchased 4 semi-private lessons. Mike is an exceptional teacher. His direction is so easy to understand and he really cares about his students' success. My skills improved immensely! Mike is also fun and extremely professional.

1 star stolen for the quality of grass in the stand. That said, super close to downtown Toronto! This place is ideal for hanging with friends.

The Docks Driving Range
First time visiting The Docks Driving Range and it was a great experience. Free parking, friendly staff, generous size basket of balls, covered driving area (great protection on hot sunny days), and seating behind each station. This is one of the better driving ranges I have been to in Toronto. It is quite popular, and I will be going back for sure.

I got to say that I’m disappointed with the whole experience. The place looks run down and the equipment was worn. This was a downgrade from where I went previously. If you ever go to Manhattan, NYC the experience is unbelievable. Here some media from NYC.

They've got a great place to hang out and grab drinks like my volleyball team does a lot after our games. The service is great.

I'm not a golfer at all, but came here to hang with friends. Came on a Saturday around noon and it was really busy due to Cabana, but was able to find a parking spot. We waited about 30 minutes to get a spot. It's unlimited balls, but I think it was $40 an hour which isn't cheap from what I hear.Would come back to hang with friends and get some sun.
