Hanson's auto repair

Got a wheel alignment done incorrectly here. Within 6 months of driving both front tires were worn out on the inside requiring new tires. They also pressed in a control bushing too far causing it to fail. Full incompetence by both owner and mechanic. Avoid at all costsUpdate: they also installed an emergency brake cables the same time which has now snapped off? Scammed and liars all of them

Always great service.. lorrie does a great job managing appointments and explaining what needs to be done and why. Costs are always very reasonable too... the mechanics diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. Ty.

Had my truck for a ridiculous amount of time, caught them lying in an email to try to upsell me, couldn't even figure out the paperwork, cvse had to come in and help them. They put the wrong parts in my truck and when it finally passed I drove it to another shop for a second opinion and my steering was about to let go. Literally within an hour of leaving hansens with a pass on a inspection. Also was under the impression they had plates that made it legal to drive my truck to another shop for an alignment which was not the case as my truck was not insurable at the time hence the inspection. I wouldn't trust them to do an oil change. Lady at the front counter was lovely and patient, the owner didn't seem to have a clue.Reply to owner: I was told you don't do alignments and it was taken to a shop HANSEN'S suggested. Now I did not drive it there care to comment on how it legally got there? Now lucky for us both you managed to lie in an email which I still have as well as a copy of the legal guidelines you as an inspector are required to follow. Oh and the parts ordered for the alignment? Who ordered those? Pretty sure I have the receipts from HANSEN'S. If you're going to lie to your customers at least be better at it ♡ Thankfully another shop was capable of fixing your screw ups so my truck didn't fall apart and kill someone after YOU passed it.

Absolutely amazing service. We were passing through Kamloops on a long road trip and stopped at Hanson's to have some major damages on our wheel repaired. We didn't have an appointment but they were able to squeeze us in right away. Henry took the time to show us all of the damages and gave us reasonable estimates on how long the repair would take and cost. He even found us some used parts to save money. They got the job done much quicker and cheaper than we imagined. Everyone was extremely helpful and professional. If only Hanson's was in my hometown...

We have been going to Hanson's Repair for a few years, to change tires, breaks, and other autoservices. Best prices, always helpful, friendly service! Very knowledgeable and will never upsell you the staff you don't need. Highly recommend!

Terrible experience. Brought my car in to get an oil leak checked and left believing I may need to get my timing belt replaced because oil was leaking on it. I was also led to believe my engine may need to be rebuilt. They showed very little interest in helping me out and clearly did the bare minimum while charging way too much for not having really done anything (besides topping up the oil) or even offering to do work to what they did see. I got a second opinion and they found the source of the leak in less than 5 minutes, not charging for anything. The second opinion also told me my timing belt had no oil on it and did not need replacing. They also told me that there was no potential to need my engine rebuilt.

Hanson's was a great experience. There was no pressure, just a devotion to treating their clients like family. They spent a lot of time with me and my truck and in the end only billed 35 bucks for the diagnosis of my problematic engine. They have been kind and generous, I would recommend them to anyone; wither your from town or just passing through.

I showed up at lunch to pick my car up. There was a sign that said “will return at 1pm.” I ended up waiting outside in the rain for 40 minutes. Nobody informed me they completely close down for lunch (building locked, nobody around) and I showed up when I was told to. One of their techs later tried to blame it on me. The owner also later said they were all there during the time I waited, implying that I was lying. There’s many other options in town, I recommend trying a more proven company, something more professional.

EXCELLENT service. The propane guru I was looking for was off and the secretary took a message for him to call me back for some questions I had. AND HE CALLED BACK!!! 3 days later. Answered all my questions and even ordered me in a part. 10/10 service.

Henry is a great mechanic. He diagnosed and fix my car in short period of time for VERY reasonable price.Thank you so much guys, you are lifesavers!Highly recommend to others.
