Digital Cinema Rentals

Awesome rental house geared to filmmakers/videographers but they also have a lot of gear for photographers. I’ve been renting here for years, definitely the most informative/helpful/flexible. Great rates and nice long rental periods (not just 24 hours).

We rent from Digital Cinema Rentals for almost all of our projects. From larger commercial projects to event capture and live streaming Kelly always has the gear and advice we’re looking for. I recommend DCR to anyone looking to level up their production quality!

Even though I only did a small, short term rental from DCR, the service was excellent. Kelly took time to make sure I had the maximum amount of time with the camera equipment, including meeting with me on Sunday to give me a technical primer. But an even bigger help was when I couldn't figure out how to load my completed video from the SD card to my Mac. Kelly did the transfer and the threw in more than an hour of technical post-production computer assistance. She wouldn't accept payment and it was clear her motivation was that I as her customer succeeded in my project. Very impressed with customer service and her intelligent approach to solving my problems. Completely professional and very responsive/proactive. Five stars, and I would *highly* recommend Kelly and DCR for your next AV project.

Owner Kelly Conlin is extremely dedicated to insuring her clients are happy. The gear is great and well maintained, her service professional, and price reasonable. We had an issue with intermittent power on a monitor (turned out to be a battery issue), and she came to set to resolve to issue and get our shoot back on track. What other rental house provides that level of service? All five stars well deserved!

Kelly was very helpful and easy to work with. Digital Cinema Rentals has wide array of gear and I was able to source just about everything I needed for my video shoot from them. Very responsive and flexible for adjusting my package and pickup/drop-off. Will definitely worth with her again when I'm in the Victoria area.

Digital Cinema Rentals is an invaluable resource for film makers on Vancouver Island. Kelly has a wealth of knowledge both from a technical and creative standpoint and is able to suggest gear appropriate for any shoot, from Indie to Broadcast. Her hours are very accommodating as are the rental rates and she goes out of her way to ensure all gear is in tip top shape and the renter understands the ins and outs of the equipment rented. Simply the best rental option for creatives on the Island.

Thank goodness for Digital Cinema Rentals. Our bags were lost in route from Dallas, so we had nothing with us. Kelly was amazing and helped us out with everything we needed and for a great price!!! I highly recommend checking out her awesome little shop!! I will return for sure.

Was exceptionally happy with my rentals. They were understanding and flexible about pick-up and return times, and provided a thorough tutorial on how to use all the gear at pick-up and rates were very reasonable. Absolutely recommend.

Attention indie filmmakers and Producers shooting in Victoria! We needed some film lighting at a moments notice for a commercial shoot in Duncan BC and Digital Cinema Rentals had just what we needed.
