Grove St Walk-In Clinic & Family Practice

My step son was not feeling well, and his family doctor could not fit him in, so we decided to try this clinic. The staff were excellent. The wait time was not too long, and Dr Z. was friendly and listened to both myself and my step son outline the presenting issues. He examined my step son, explained the course of action, and faxed a prescription for antibiotics to the pharmacy next door. They were also very friendly and prompt. I would definitely come to this clinic again if anyone in our family needs to be seen by a doctor.Thank you for a calm experience.

Brutal. Waited 3hrs. For a Physical.Finally saw the Dr. and he was mad at me for wasting his time-they don’t physicals at this location.Reception knew I was there for that, but she wasn't paying attention when I registered.The Dr. acted like I owed him money or something. This place is terrible.Unless you want a crack pipe methadone or assisted suicide,Health care in Ontario is useless and a complete joke.

I arrived at 8:45 AM on Friday and registered quickly. I was number 8 in line. The doctor started seeing patients at 9. He worked his way along with about 5-6 mins per patient. My issue was quickly diagnosed and a prescription was send immediately to the pharmacy next door. 15 mins later I returned to my car with medicine in hand. A very efficient operation.

I went there today (Sunday). It was extremely busy, probably because most walk-ins in Barrie are closed on Sundays. My visit took 2hours and 20mins. The doctor is very helpful and fast. I like him. I’d definitely go back.My only issue which was HUGE for me is that there is no bathroom. It is currently under construction which is VERY inconvenient for patients who have to sit there for hours. The nearby restaurant wouldn’t allow me to use their washroom. I had to drive down the street to Tim hortons. Luckily, I drive because that’s a far walk for someone without transportation. I’d suggest getting the bathroom fixed ASAP.

Very nice receptionist and the doctor was very good also. Was quick as i was in and out about 40 minutes as there was about 6 people ahead of meI will be back and also the pharmasist was also very kindThanks Donna

Thank you kindly from the secretary at the door that welcomes you with a smile at 10am on a Saturday morning to the Dr that's interested to put you at ease. It open at 10am and we" were out within 45 min. For not feeling our best

Maybe it's a good clinic, but I wouldn't know because I couldn't get in when it clearly said that it was open. So I messaged earlier in the morning about my problem, and asking if I even SHOULD come in. No response. I gave the benefit of the doubt, and maybe the person who read it wasn't qualified to give an answer. So I checked the hours of operation and checked for times when it was less busy so I could go in without having to wait too long. It says they're open until 7, so I show up at 5...only to find out the door's locked and they're not accepting anyone new at all for the remainder of the day. Would have been nice to know that before making my way up there, because it in no way shows or states that to be the case when you check online.

Now THIS is how a walk in should be. Amazing doctor, amazing receptionist, amazing pharmacist. It was full. The receptionist gave me an estimated waiting time of 40min to an hour. 52 minutes I waited. By the way she's very nice and professional. Usually receptionists (including my own family Dr 'receptionist) are rude but this one is great! The doctor doesn't waste time in unnecessary conversations. He goes straight to the point and as he's giving recommendations, he sends the prescription to the pharmacy. Very good service! Oh and there's free parking in the front. 5+

Wow. Great experience. I mean it’s filled with sick people and not much seating, but seems less formal than the big clinics. Fast, efficient and kind doctor and pharmacist. Was in and out with prescription in hand in an hour and 15 mins and it was busy!

One of the best walk in clinics I've ever been too. It can be busy depending on the time you go, but the doctor that is working does not waste your time or those who are waiting. He is attentive YET makes sure that everyone is seen is in a timely fashion. Which means you are waiting for 4 hours and you are taken care of and your are treated with respect.Reception is very professional and answers all your questions. I have emailed several times and they always respond.Overall, if you cannot get into your family doctor (like mine for months) or don't have one, go to this walk in. You won't be disappointed
