I had an extremely negative experience with this house developer. The lack of transparency was appalling, and they constantly provided excuses for their poor workmanship and constant delays. The closing costs were astronomical, and the overall customer service was terrible.From the beginning, the builder was unresponsive and seemed to care little about our concerns or questions. The construction process was filled with issues, and the builder was unwilling to take responsibility for any of them. The workmanship was shoddy, and we found numerous defects and defects that took ages to be addressed.The builder was always behind schedule, and we were constantly given false promises about when things would be completed. Once obtaining occupancy, it is clear that they were using subpar materials to cut costs, which caused further issues and delays, such as units flooding.To make matters worse, the closing costs were much higher than anticipated, with numerous hidden fees and charges that were never disclosed. The builder was unresponsive when we tried to address these concerns, and we had no choice but to pay the exorbitant fees.Overall, I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this builder. They are crooks who provide terrible customer service and poor workmanship. Save yourself the trouble and find a different builder who is transparent, reliable, and cares about their customers.

Worst builder ever,!!!! bad customer service, unprofessional workmanship and then 3 days before closing, they demanded an astronomical amount of money for services that should have been in the original cost of the home… bad Budgeting & management….. one word that describes them “Theives”

Purchased a unit which has been in development with numerous dateless delays. All the covid related challenges I very much understand. Here’s why 1 star: Unresponsive customer service. It’s 1 person essentially running all comms for the entire project the customer side so if they are sick, OOO or busy with other buildings you don’t get a response (they have admitted to more this than once, which is lovely to learn why you’re being ignored because another project is more important). Disorganized and siloed teams. I had to request my into updated 3+ times and it’s still trouble to get their communications directed correctly and timely. Received multiple emails with incorrect dates and given extremely short periods to be prepared after months with dateless delays (followed by delays as short as 7 days). Builders are extremely restrictive and misleading with buyers and make it nearly impossible to reassign a unit and give you no control over the process, not even allowing MLS listings to generate demand - this review would take an entirely different tone if they did. Sales people mislead and made false promises regarding potential early signing bonuses and “throw-ins” to get the purchase.

I purchased a unit at the Clarkson development in summer of 2019. This was my first home purchase. I understand the pandemic has been difficult getting building materials, workforce, etc. However, there has been little to no communication of occupancy. I'm sure this is similar with other developers, however it's frustrating when vested.

I purchased one of the condominium of 625 Sheppard Ave., North York with Haven Development on 2016, but they informed me that the project was terminated and returned my deposit without any interest on July, 2019. I think Haven Development try to resale the suites on higher price because it's on the market now(higher selling price), it's not fair for the previous buyers. Unreliable developer!!!

I had a horrible experience with haven. I purchased my first home with them and the constant delays were frustrating but weren’t in their control. Although the commutation was limited to none about the status and updates of the new build.My unit was ready for occupancy then there was some type of electrical issue and the unit was flooded. They had to redo everything but the workmanship was SO POOR.I had to chase them down for a refund of the months I was paying for an occupancy fee when the unit clearly was not livable.They had given me one weeks notice of the closing date AND that there were additional charges of $60,000 due on closing……who has that cash just sitting in their bank account as a young adult?They were very unresponsive around closing time when we tried to ask for an extension as I was on vacation (we had no idea when the closing day would be until a week before the date).When we asked for supporting documents to justify these additional charges they were not able to provide them.Our development looks great on the outside and units are nice and modern, but looking at the detail of the workmanship it’s awful. The structure is having many issues and flooding, and the way they handled the closing for many individuals and families was so unethical. They are a “family” business but In the end they are a business.I would advise you NOT to purchase a new development with these builders- you may go bankrupt or be stuck with crippling dept

guys be aware for this builder there a big fraud I bought one unit in 400 east mall my closing in one week and they send me development charges of $83,000 for 1100 ft.² condo townhouse. after that I found out they Rip of everybody about 30 owners we are in touch and everyone receive same development charges we’re going to close our house but we cannot go now be quiet I’m going to email Doug Ford and all the authorities about this big fraud. this is about 10% of the property value. we are in touch with all news channels is going to be coming soon in all news.

I've noticed that property manager is not doing anything about Covid restrictions. The amount of entitled individuals that walks into the elevator or walking around in the building with no mask on is ridiculous. Not even the bathrooms are section off for social distancing and lack of sign to prevent anything.

Do not invest in this builderCountless delays and only given 23 days notice to some of the delaysThey want us to close on our interim occupancy without half the floors not installed, the unit not painted, washer and dryer sitting in kitchen, the baseboards not installed and with the entire unit needed to be painted. City of Mississauga approved the occupancy ! How that is liveable is beyond insane.No professionalism on their end, just want your money and go.

After paying my down payment, any additional fees and moving In, 3 days before my closing I received a development charge of $90,000. my apartment is 500 sqft by the way. The other owners of the complex are just as disgusted as I am, the developer is a thief.
