I've eaten so many japanese restaurants in town, and Kyuzo is the best must try!!! Fresh fishs, skewers are delicious, udon soup great for winter, and ebi tempura is my kids favourite! easily to find what u want to eat. dont forget the matcha ice cream for dessert.

Food was not bad but service was lacking. Two of the dishes they served were wrong (we didn't order them) and we had to call our server over constantly since they never came by to our table even though they were constantly chatting among themselves. One dish was forgotten and then served almost cold. Could have potential but the first experience was disappointing. For the price, the overall experience could have been better.

Pretty good food! Some hit and misses but in general okayy. There's better out there but it'll hit the so it if you're craving Japanese and you're in the area. Prices are fair.

A good place to try if you looking for food with beautiful presentation. We went this place for a celebration, all the details in restaurant delivers a creative vibe. From the kinda dish they use to the presentation of the food, everything makes us satisfied. The tuna sashimi is very fresh ( $16 for 6 pcs, a bit pricy tho). The tuna tataki salad taste great, and the portion is pretty big. Fish liver is a must try. Service is ok, not impressive but not bad. Food is amazing, we will definitely be back.

This is a nice restaurant however it's very expensive for what you get. We ordered the assorted Sashimi which was $30 and they were only nine pieces of Sashimi in total. The pieces of Sashimi were very small and it came on a overly large plate with a lot of decorations but no real food on the inside. I also ordered the unagi Don and tempura which was okay. I will likely not return to this place due to the high cost and average quality

Kyuzo is q nice place to eat at if you want something a little fancier than normal. I've been here multiple times and I find it nice. The food isn't going to win any awards anytime soon but it's delicious nonetheless. I would, however, not recommend the Yaki Udon. I found the dish rather bland.

The main issue I had with this restaurant is how long it took for our food to arrive. We sat down for dinner and ordered around 6pm. Based on my photo time stamps, the sashimi platter arrived at 6:26pm (26mins), and the tempura arrived at 6:42pm (42mins). Neither of these dishes are ones that I would expect to have such a long waiting time for. The rest of the food started arriving more quickly at 6:54pm, almost an hour after we arrived. What also bothered me more was it seemed there was a constant flow of food and service towards the private room near the front of the restaurant in comparison. There was even one plate which looked like a whole crab on a sashimi platter that the staff member placed on a nearby table, took a picture of the dish on his personal phone, then brought the dish to the private room. I assume that room was ordering some special/expensive dishes that seem to warrant special service and treatment. The restaurant was also not particularly busy at the time we arrived, as there were at least 6 other empty tables, so I don’t believe the slow service was due to an excessive number of guests.Food wise, when it arrived, the quality was okay. The parmesan beef rolls didn’t taste like they were just seared on top as it was cool when eating, and the salmon oshi had very dense, tightly packed rice. Price wise as well, it came out to around $250 after tip between the 5 of us this evening.Overall, price, service and quality would make me want to avoid this restaurant in general, in favour of other good Japanese restaurants in the future.
