This is a great grocery store if you really pay attention to what you put into your body. Join their rewards program which gets you an additional discount on any sale items.

I have a question: why the front desk staffs need to arrange our bags? For trying to help us or showing each and everyone is suspicious to them?...Why don't they write on the front door that outside bags are not allowed or they can provide bags free of cost. And here most of the staffs are make you feel If you are not white

I've usually gone to both Community and Blush for my organic needs. But for some reason, Community tends to keep out expired goods past their date. I've gone to both the chinook and crowfoot location to buy meats and the past 3 times I've tossed out an entire breast and ground turkey because it smelt like sulfur (meaning the meat had already gone bad). Again, I thought it was just me having the worst luck, but still decided to go to Community anyway and went to crowfoot the other day to buy milk, and the goat milk out in the fridge, had been expired for two days.I think I'll stick with Blush Lane going forward as I haven't had quality problems there at all.* I am not affiliated with either company. This is just my experience.

Great selection of health food products was really impressed with the vast selection that was available. However the Cafe food was terrible, thats where the lack of 1 star is. It was very expensive for a grilled chicken sandwich that was basically microwaved chicken that hurt my stomach. I don't consider this to be health food. The cappuccino tasted like steamed milk couldn't even taste the coffee in there. However staff was very friendly and helpful . I will definitely be shopping here again, but will not have lunch there again.

Big fan of the store, they have everything I need, they have every GT’s Kombucha flavour almost always in stock, and often on sale! (Cheaper than Safeway) their ready made food is great also, the cafe is a very nice touch with great staff and service all around.

Staff don't smile, not attentive and are not friendly other than the cashier who had assisted me. That's why I prefer visiting the 10th avenue location.

I love that Community Natural Foods offers food on the go. I have smarter, guilt-free food choices and can read EXACTLY what's in the ingredients. I can't say that for any other fast food stop.

I have been a regular customer at the Crowfoot location for a long time now, but you never know what you're dealing with until you face an issue. Yesterday, I was doing my usual grocery shopping there. I bought a supplement that was a different brand than what I usually use. The next day, when I tried one, it caused stomach upset. I had never exchanged or returned anything to this store or company before, so I called customer service and explained what had happened. They told me it wouldn't be a problem and that they could exchange it for me. I asked them if it was okay to exchange even if the bottle had been opened, and they said yes. When I went to the store, there was a lady there. I'm not sure if she was the manager on duty, but the manager's name at that time was Susan. She asked me if I had a receipt, and I told her that I was a member and that all my transactions should be in their system. She asked for my phone number, and I gave it to her. She went somewhere and came back, saying she couldn't find anything. I told her to make sure she had the correct phone number. It turned out she had the wrong phone number. I corrected the number she had, and she went to the back room again. When she returned, she said she still couldn't find any transactions. I felt like she was making me feel like I made it up. She also said she couldn't find any record in the system of me calling customer service. It was ironic that she couldn't find my transactions but wanted to find the customer service record. I told her that when I called customer service, I asked them about the return policy and explained what I was trying to do. She said she would call them and see if they could pull up my transaction. She made the call and came back to me, saying that she couldn't return an opened bottle. I reminded her that when I called customer service, they told me I could exchange it. I asked her why she wasted my time with all these questions if she couldn't exchange it. She went to the back room and grabbed a piece of paper, telling me that I needed to go to Health Canada to file a case about the product. She was the weirdest person I have ever seen, and it seemed like she was happy to make me frustrated. I ended up leaving the supplement with her and told her that this would be my last time doing business with this company. My sister and all my friends feel the same way. By the way, the supplement cost $30. I had planned to do my grocery shopping there after I exchanged the supplement, but instead, I went to Amaranth and did my grocery shopping there. I also bought the other brand from Amaranth and asked them about their return policy if I were to open the bottle and later found it caused any issues for me. They told me that as long as I was within 30 days of purchasing, they could issue a full refund even if the item was open. I want to express my gratitude to Amaranth. I will never visit Community Natural Foods or do business with them again, and neither will my family and friends.—————-Quick update:————————-The customer service manager called me today and apologized for what happened. I am so glad they did because I don't want to lose confidence in shopping at this location. They offered me the exchange I was asking for. Mistakes happened.
