Top Cat Wine Tours and Charters

A fabulous experience, we were treated like royalty, Tom went out of his way to to give us a truly memorable tour taking us to four estate wineries that were all very charming and unique. He was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful, even went out of his way to recommend and book us a dinner reservation at a restaurant. Highly recommend Top Cat Wine Tours if your are thinking of booking a wine tour in the Penticton area.

We booked our (2 person) Naramata wine tour with lunch through TripAdvisor, understanding we could be picked up at Peachland (so we can enjoy the wine tasting without having to worry about driving) as the booking page suggested.For our own piece of mind, we called the day before to confirm pick up. Surprisingly, the tour usually does not pick up further than Summerland and Top Cat has been trying to get this modified at the tour's TripAdvisor page. Misscommunication issues aside, Milles resolved the issue diligently and amended our trip so we could be picked up at our location, as we originally expected. If that wasn't enough, we were extremely lucky because we had been partnered with a bachelorette, and Top Cat only want customers to have a unique experience so as things turned out, we got a private trip so we could get the best experience possible. Kudos for them!The tour itself was fantastic. Our wine knowledge was limited, and can only say good things about our driver and guide, Denis. His knowledge about the area and wine helped us to understand what to look for and overall build a good base knowledge that will be of use from now onwards! And the wineries we went to were sublime. The attention and time they invested on us really shows passion for what they do. Not to mention the scenary - simply breathtaking.Last but not least, we had lunch at Hillside. We sat in the upstairs patio and yet again, a fantastic location with excellent views. Denis joined us and we shared a good and kind conversation about a bunch of different topics.Our only con, which is not really such a thing, is that we were limited to a certain allowance for lunch, which still allowed us to get a decent main per person, but that was pretty much it. Should we have wanted anything else, we would have had to top it up. Maybe the concept gourmet lunch" has to be revisited

Booked a tour through the Naramata wine country for myself and 7 friends. Every step of the process was great! Myles made the booking process completely seamless, and Tom was a fabulous host to take us in the tour. The bus was roomy, air conditioned, and comfortable. Highly recommend Top Cat for anyone staying in the Penticton/Summerland/Naramata region.

If you're considering Top Cat for a wedding - beware!We used Top Cat tours for our wedding transportation this summer. It was next to impossible to get a hold of someone to discuss contracts/ itineraries/ changes, and my calls and emails often went unanswered for weeks on end (if they were answered at all). This disorganization led to some back and forth between our wedding planner and the company, and ultimately led to me combing through our contract the night before the wedding (which is NOT how you want to be spending your night). On the day of our wedding (a hot Okanagan summer day), our guests said that hot air blew through the vents on the trip to the venue. The company didn't send a second small shuttle at the end of the night as we had paid for and was outlined in our contract. They never spoke with me in advance to confirm that we would not need the shuttle - nor did they offer any kind of compensation for the transportation we paid for and never got. To top it off, no one ever responded to my email about this that I sent in September following our wedding.

For the last few years we have used Top Cat Tours for all our wine, distillery and brewery tours. Over 10 tours with them and every single one is top notch! The drivers are all so professional, helpful and fun. The tour options have always been perfect. Top Cat is super accommodating and so easy to deal with. I’d highly recommend them!!!

Our driver Tommy was excellent. Knew history of the area. And kept us entertained while traveling between stops. Great day would recommend to any looking for wine tasting tours.

Miles was very helpful is making a booking for a group of 12 ( 6 adults and 6 kids) and gave us good recommendations for farms considering we had kids on the tour.We had our own bus and David our driver slash host for the day was absolutely wonderful. He went above and beyond and made the experience even better! He helped occupy the kids while we did the tastings and was pleasant and provided good local knowledge.Highly recommend this lot..

Beware if you’re considering using Top Cat Wine Tours for any sort of important event.We hired them to shuttle guests to and from Naramata for our wedding this summer and 3 days before the wedding they bailed. Myles (the owner) claimed that ALL of their catalytic converters were stolen out of ALL of their buses and therefore were unable to uphold their contract. This was a lie as their buses continued to run that day, and every day thereafter. Myles also bragged to multiple people about “big events” he had scheduled on the same weekend as my wedding.I then began reaching out to other shuttle companies and found out Myles had been trying to find me alternate arrangements WEEKS before (and was unsuccessful) but only told me 3 days before my wedding. During my search for another shuttle, multiple companies told me it was pretty normal to be cleaning up Top Cat’s messes.Not only did they bail on me 3 days before my wedding but they were also extremely hard to get ahold and communicate with in the months leading up to the wedding.I would strongly recommend finding someone else for your shuttle needs!

I've done 2 wine tours (Naramata & West Kelowna) and both were amazing! Terry (2 years ago) was a delight and took the extra time to take us on a little tour of the town of Naramata giving detail of old buildings and history. Tod was awesome as well and was a great sport about having to listen to a bunch of girls on a bachlorette tour and taking so many photos for us! I will definitely be using this company for all my future wine tours.

We were a group of 6 who went on an all day Naramata bench tour. Barry was an amazing tour guide! Super knowledgable about not only wine but the local area as well. Such a fun day! Would definitely book a tour again.
