My son did a hitting clinic here in March and the instructor was really thorough, stopped the kids to correct them, really made sure they were learning something. It wasn’t just some guy trying to get through the hour. Worth the money.

A little hard to find this place (it's st the back of the building). Decent facility but we forewarned that you have to get dressed outside before entering the building due to COVID, which is a hassle.

I bought my partner a 30 minute stick handling lesson at The Pond because she said she would like to get better while playing hockey. I didn't realize how much could be covered in 30 minutes. Ryan was very thorough and she came out with new techniques. I would highly recommend this place for lessons. The lessons were on the shooting pad which was big enough for sure.

The minipad is very good for goalie and shooting lessons. Big enough to skate and move.

Go to The Wave instead. We just did a four day camp, 9 a.m. to 12. p.m. There was a 14 year old and two 20's running it like a daycare. No specific tips, no coaching etc. You are paying for ice time, but no instruction. No hockey trivia or tips during the one hour off ice (where kids were asked to sit on benches and tables that buckled).Greg, Michele, Ryan and Graham were not on the ice at all. The website is misleading. Ryan Moore said that he only instructs a" level players. So if you are house league

My son and daughter attend the Sunday afternoon intermediate Power Skating and Puck Skills lessons. Their coach is Udo Springmann and he’s fantastic. I watched an entire lesson rink side and was able to listen and watch him coach them through various drills. He’s excellent at explaining things and demonstrating what is to be expected. He watches the kids and if someone is struggling he doesn’t hesitate to come help correct them. He is very kind to my youngest who is 7 years old and the only girl in the group. The Pond is an excellent place to further your hockey skills and become an overall better skater.
