The food was really good and you can get a really good amount of sushi for an awesome price! Super nice staff, cute guppy tank and wifi too!!

Nice service but sushi so bad in taste that Im surprised the place has 4.5 stars. All were a very poor variation of crab stick meat with something. Gomae was filled with sugar. Sashimi was good but it's hard to spoil a raw fish.

We used to come here often and rolls were great and fresh. Today was disappointing. Crunch roll which is similar to dynamite roll didn’t taste fresh and it feels like they used the cooked shrimps from a few days ago. Seaweed didn’t taste good either, seems like it was old. Not sure what happened with their food quality but we will not come back here again.

Wow! Great sushi, best I've had yet in the lower Mainland. Try the 990 special roll. Small dine in area, so try to hit them up when it's not their busy time.

Today we wanted to try somewhere we haven't been before and found Sushi 990. The menu online seemed tempting and was reasonably priced. I called and it was easy to order. The order was ready in 50 mins but probably because I called just before 6. At the location it seemed to be following covid protocols and felt clean. We probably ordered enough for 4-6 people but we were hungry. The food was tasty with the star being the aburi. I would say the aburi is a must get. The special roll combo we ordered seemed to be a variations of California rolls but had a good selection with slightly different flavours. That being said, they seem to really like using imitation crab. (The sushi we ordered didn't have too much raw fish) The teriyaki combo was a disappointment and will be skipped next time. Overall 4 stars. If it was aburi alone it would've been 5 stars but the teriyaki combo was overly peppery and the the sushi was slightly off balance with the heavy amount of imitation crab used and sometimes overpowering cream cheese.

The food was very good. Fresh and decent size rolls. Tasty udon.The only disadvantage is the size of the place. It is very small. The biggest table will fit 6 people most.Other than that I liked it a lot.

We were served by Tracey who was very sweet, funny, and did a great job! The food was delicious, and very affordable. I believe it was about $19 for this huge sushi combo my friend ordered!

To start off, I’m really running out of places to dine in (gotta love food prices being jacked). I walked in, and the whole place felt cozy, nice warm lighting and not too big to the point I felt like I was eating in costco. Got some salmon sushi and holy cow is it good. I’ve tried all sorts of sushi/japanese restaurants stretching from downtown vancouver to maple ridge and this place is now on my top 5 places to visit.Staff were also friendly, I wish I was hungrier walking in.

Sushi was insulting. Small served on warm/hot rice. Tried to pass off freezer burned octopus sushi. AVOID this disgusting place.

ordered take out and it’s nothing compared to Sushi Cal or Sushi Town, but if you’re looking for cheap sushi that’s passable (depending on how much rice you like/need and how soft you like your rice)Ordered the negi roll combo, the teriyaki combo and the spicy roll combo which was over 60 pieces total!! Very filling and if I need big portions that are somewhat well priced, I’d get it from here.Will this be a regular spot for me? Probably not.
