Tarek Merhej and the team have tirelessly maintained and operated multiple buildings/ sites for us. We appreciate the on-time reporting and efficient and quick reporting. One thing I enjoy most is their availability and personal touch; I have trust and friendship along side a partnership.

I feel sorry for property owners who list their property with this company thinking that they will put decent efforts to rent it for them.I called a week ago about one of their listings on the south side of Edmonton and left a message no response another call a day later and left another message with different representative again no response called third time still no response.

I inquired about a property for lease over a month ago, and after a few weeks of waiting for a response, the agent, Chris, wrote to me to say he had been sick, but never responded to the questions I had asked in my original email. After a few more emails outlining the same questions, weeks have passed without a response, and phone calls are never answered. I consider this unprofessional behaviour, especially towards a potential client, and I would have expected better of this company.

We have been doing business with Avison Young for a very long time, and are very pleased with the knowledge of the staff along with their professional approach to Property Management.

I have been dealing with Tarek Merhej of Avison Young for over 6 years now. As a Broker, we rely so heavily on clients who understand the value of excellent communication, transparency, professionalism and knowledge of their industry. With Tarek, this is the case and then some. It has been a mutually rewarding 6 years and I hope to continue doing business with Tarek and Avison Young for many years to come. I cannot recommend them enough!

Don’t let these people run your condo. Left our condo building in financial troubles. I do not recommend this company.

This is a review of the Avison Young Property Management team lead by Tarek Merhej. The commercial interior design firm I own has had the change to work with them on various occasions including Tarek prior to Avison Young. We have always had great responsiveness from them on our requests for Clients and find them to be professional, reliable and easy to work with.

Tarek and his team go above and beyond to deliver the very highest standards in service. Their experience and professionalism is second to none. I would without hesitation, refer them to my closest friends and family. True All Stars! Thanks Tarek and Team! :)

We have had one of the worst experiences with Avison Young Property Management Group operated by Tareq Merhej, Ryan Verhoeff & Patricia Zingle. We had hired them as property managers for our property in Edmonton, Alberta. When it came to showing their performance they miserabley failed by backing out of their contract at the last minute when we got the occupancy permit. There was no explanation given as to why they backed out nor was there any apology or consideration given. They had indicated that they had 58 potential renters however we had not seen even one application. They conducted their business in a very unprofessional way that left us high and dry. We would strongly recommend NOT TO USE Avison Young Property Management Group for any services. In addition, we requested Ryan & Patricia to return the master key for the property. I have still not received the keys back for the building. That tells you about their services. Absolutely unprofessional, unethical, not considerate, unapologetic. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM USING THEM FOR ANY PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SERVICES.
