just had a new wood stove and chimney installed by Andy & Alex at the fireplace centre..they were extremely professional and so clean...even helped to move my furniture back into place...would highly recommend them. They explain every step of the installation so you have no questions!You want someone to treat your home as you do and they certainly did...very appreciative.

Ordered fireplace that was months late, when arrived it was not as described as originally ordered missing the proper lighting that was made very clear at time of order. Months later they attend to install what was supposed to be the light kit and it was wrong after taking it all apart at our house. Sitting months later again and still no progress, horrible communication, we would never get any updates or follow ups without us calling or having to stop into location for answers. Have been without use of this unit for almost 6 months now and no progress in site. Figured having this fireplace installed in the summer it would be good come heating season with the proper lighting kit...... Nope. Strongly recommend making your purchases and service elsewhere.

Folks, your service tech recently completed some work on the fireplace and I am writing to tell you how impressed I was with the quality of work. He replaced the baffle and bricks. The work was very messy as you can imagine. We he finished he left the house as clean as when he arrived. He was competent, friendly and his work was of high quality. Kudos to the technician and Friendly Fires.

My husband and I are very pleased with the awesome customer service we received from the store when purchasing our stove and base. As for the install it was top notch excellent service by Adam & Josh. This team is amazing they are courteous, clean, informative and all around great guys to have in your home to do your install. They don't know how to fix a old fireplace and just want you to get it replaced with a new one. My gas fireplace was working fine but had some smoke issue. The guys who came from FF found it was just a gasket issue which was resolved just by properly putting the glass door in place. But then they decided put their faulty CO detectors on it for half an hour and barely found CO level of 1-2 on one of them. Thats it, they tagged the furnace and told me that i can't use it anymore. The only option they gave me was to buy a new one. For the visit they charged me $225 !!! while leaving me with the furnace unusable instead of fixing it. I checked my furnace yesterday with another CO detector and it's showing nothing. Don't ever call them for service or repair.
