Costco Tire Center

The Kanata location lost my locking key for my rims after installing new winter tires. Called for the manage last year to discuss and was never contacted again.

I called to check out the cost of 4 tires for a friends car. The man who answered me was professional, and helpful.

Very poor experience.. these guys claim 90 minutes online and when you drop the keys, they ask you to come back after at least 2 hours. And after 2 hours they actually hand over the car back after 3 hours.. incompetent in handling their job.. they have no sense of time..

Had to purchase new Michelin tires from Canadian tire. Costco has no stock at this time (April 2022). As a long term customer, went to Kanata Costco to book an appointment to have the tires installed and balanced. Front desk said they can't, as I did not buy the tires from them. But they said it also up to the managers discretion. Waited 10 minutes for the tire centre manager to get back from break. He refused to speak with me but sent the counter guy back to tell me they will not install another suppliers tires. Last time I ever darken their doors again after purchasing several sets of tires from them over the years. Really poor customer relations.

This is the worst tire Center across ottawa. Even for Torque check you have to wait in line for an hour at the front desk. Merivale and barrhavven are much better. Very rude employees

Purchased a set of tires from Costco online and had an appointment to have them installed at the Kanata location.Was told to be there 15 minutes before my appointment, which I was. The car was not even brought in for over an hour past my appointment slot.I was booked in for tire change and oil change. They refused to use my lug nuts and was forced to purchase new ones due to them stating they were the wrong lug nuts for after market rims. Every other licensed mechanic in the past who has switched my tires has used the same lug nuts with no issues. I tried to explain this to the manager and it was stated that it wasn’t an option and they wouldn’t change my tires otherwise.After waiting 3 hours, 15 minutes my car was ready and I was handed my skid plate that was removed to complete the oil change and was told I’d have to take it to a shop to get it put back on.Never again will I ever use the Kanata Tire Centre at Costco.

I was waiting 45 minutes to drop of the keys. There was only one person. They should hire one more person.

The tire service person, Todd, who helped me the other day was very helpful, however there is usually a long lineup and, worst of all, nobody ever (and I do mean ever) answers the phone. The tire centre really needs more workers, especially a receptionist to answer the phone.

Terrible service. They usually has one receptionist so you always need to wait. Even when you have appointment, it takes 2 hours to change tires. Shame it has Costco logo.
