I dropped off two chairs, 30 years old. P-leather seats, corduroy backs, bland beige colour and golden oak arms and supports. Very comfortable and solid, but really needed an update. After 2 weeks, I picked up the transformed chairs. Oiled arms managed to somewhat tone-down the golden oak, and the grey velveteen upholstery gave the chairs a new lease of life. Thank you. I contacted J. Williams Upholstery first by phone. Jeremy was pleasant, knowledgeable and informative. We set up an appointment for fabric selection but first he had me send pictures of the chair I was having reupholstered and asked what we were looking at in terms of fabric to the options less overwhelming as we were hoping for the same colour and fabric if possible. The right swatch was the first one my dad saw. The fabric was ordered, chair delivered and the job was completed in half the time we were expecting. All interactions were so plesant and profession it was a delight. I would highly recommend Jeremy's company to anyone looking to have upholstery work done. We have had two very-antique chairs re-upholstered by J. Williams Upholstery & Drapery in the past few months. In each instance, they were extremely helpful with the choosing of the appropriate fabric and suggestions for changes to the design. Both chairs had been badly shredded by our cats and required work on the foam, as well as the fabric. We are extremely pleased with the end result. The chairs look as though they will last another one hundred years. Jeremy was polite throughout, as well as very efficient and quick. This is top quality work, and I highly recommend J. Real great experience! Great setting up a time to meet and talk about a chair of my mother in law’s which I received at my wedding shower. Knew how sentimental it was to me and explained exactly what would be best from the material to the design. Told me exactly when it would be done and it was done even earlier. Couple weeks if that. Highly recommend!
