U-Haul Moving & Storage at Taunton Rd

This is the second time we have rented trucks for our move from this location. The last time the truck was dirty and had poor brakes, but we had already loaded our items by the time we realized the brakes were not good. The driver's cabin was filthy.This time I mentioned at the time of picking the truck up to make sure we get a clean truck, and to our surprise the given truck cabin was again filthy and was stinking with smoking smell that started to choke. Then there were these tiny red bugs that were all over the dashboard console. I went right back and told them this and asked for a change. I was assigned another truck and the attendant cleaned the driver's cabin. The loading area was also dusty which they quickly blow-cleaned. If I had not asked, we would have again received a sub-standard truck.I remember that earlier we used to always get great trucks, but lately the experience has not been so great. Please pull up your socks, your customers deserve a better experience as no one has the time to do the work for you to let you know how your trucks are!

Service was a little slow but I’m sure they were just short handed, the rental process went smoothly, I wasn’t charged anything extra like some have said here… paid for the rental, the per KM charge and tipped up the tank to full as I received it. I will definitely be using again!

The person on the desk was as dry as dirt. I get it he has to go through the same routine a hundred times a day but show some life, it was only 9:30 in the morning. The truck ran well and did everything it was made for ... job done. In stark contrast the young lady the check me back in at the end was pleasant and a pleasure to interact with.

We came to store to pick up some moving pad/blankets. I told the young man Cody...it says on line they are $14.95...he said that's on line probably a U.S. site you were looking at. He lied folks. They just missed out on an $8 ,000 truck rental because of that lie. Buy your pads on line folks because if you go to the store they are $24.95.This is the worst case of price gouging I have run into. Shame on UHaul

A very crammed lot. The snow had not been cleared from the main access doors for the storage units. They clearly don't have a way to move smaller trailers around by hand perhaps if they did there would be more room for your trucks. The staff member said they were just under staffed...

Phoned this uhaul for a quote on a trailer hitch install. After providing vehicle details, I was quoted $292 +tax. Drove an hour and a half for appointment. They showed me the paperwork and it was $400. ??????Both workers shrugged their shoulders. They don't care. Show them how much you care by staying away!! Also beware they try to get you to sign authorization for work on the back of the forms. So you don't see what they have changed. Beware very shifty. Should have known by the low score on reviews. They forget there are other businesses that do what they do. Have dealt with this location for over 25 years how disappointing.

I was not sure about this place after reading the reviews. But the experience was smooth.Its a bit on the pricier side.Its 20$ per day for the vehicle, I ended up paying more than 100$ including insurance and gas.Overall a convenient service, but be aware of the overall costs.

Excellent customer service by the associates! Parking situation should be improved though. I love the convenience U-haul provides and I am glad for the existence of this business.

The truck was filthy, not equipped with what the dolly we ordered and held together with tape. The transmission went on the 401 and we sat on the side of the 401 for hours waiting for the genius mechanic to check the oil & confirm it needed towing - told we had to wait with the truck which is a serious safety issue. Customer Service is an absolute joke. The fact Taunton location is poorly staff by the slowest, but nice, people possible is the least of the many issues with this company. Still shocked we had to stay with truck on 401 in rush hour -- insane.

Excellent service. I was in and out of check in in 5 minutes. I am on file so it is a lot faster. Everyone friendly even when overworked due to most of vehicles out on the road.
