The Rock Golf Course
The Rock is an exceptional gem of Northern Michigan. Layout is awesome, very well kept with the right amount of challenge. The accommodation at the lodge and the club house are a little different and lacking, but the course itself is 5 stars.

Fantastic golf course the night before it got a lot of rain which made the course play cart path only but the fairways & greens were fabulous and rolling well. We have another round in the morning that we are looking forward to again & a praying for the rain to pass over Drummond Island. Oh buy the way don’t miss a dinner at thr Pins restaurant the food was great.

Food was over priced but good. Ordered nachos and half the ingredients were missing and only got a 20% discount. Not impressed with that. Staff super nice. Atmosphere not super appealing but offers many games for adults and kids. Not open for breakfast

My husband and I absolutely loved this course. Bought a play and stay from Groupgolfer and would do it again. The staff are some of the friendliest people you would ever meet. Huge shoutout to Nash in the proshop! Accommodations are wonderful and the island restaurants we explored were amazing.

The staff is so friendly and accommodating! Absolutely beautiful course, long and beautiful fairways. Tee boxes are flawless. It's a dream for anyone good with their 3 Wood off the ground, you'll need it! Basically a petting zoo for deer. If you're on the island and like to golf, you absolutely have to check it out!

Very nice course. Really enjoyed it. The cabins were very nice as well. Staff was friendly.I didn't notice anywhere to buy beer before going out, and there is nothing at the turn either. A beer cart eventually came around, but not until the seventh hole.Also not a lot of spots to use the bathroom.The course was very nice though.

The Rock Golf Course
Played Sept. 21, `17. First impression was the 1.2 mile ride from the clubhouse through woods to the course. Once there, the next impression was the lush turf that glowed amid the woods and rocky surrounds. Not much in elevation changes here, but this course is not foregiving. And not that it matters terribly, but the tee boxes had the nicest grass of any course I have ever played, a nice touch. There were no sounds or sights of civilization to distract from the golf experience. If only I had played more conservatively.

This course is a well-kept gem. If I was nitpicking, the 18th fairway was cut as if it was first cut of rough, and a few sand traps were ground under repair/flooded. Those aside, course had great views, a number of picturesque holes and shots, and was a nice mix of challenging shots. Greens were for most part in excellent shape. Would happily play again. Reasonably priced as well.

Great course - and had a fun round overall.Pros.Greens are fantasticThe course is very scenicPrice is decentThe young man who cleaned the clubs after the round was great! Super friendly and offered very good service and was happy to receive some canadian money :)Cons.We only saw 1 washroom on the course short of 17 tee despite 3 locations listed.Lots of BIG bugs. (No mosquitos)Some tee boxes need work.Course needs a bit of rain.

The Rock Golf Course
Great place! The wildlife was great. July was perfect weather. Good tee boxes, good greens and course placement. Each hole has a different feel and design. Ball placement is key for scoring here. Smart good is required.
