The cookies were beautiful and very similar to the photo I shared but they were extremely hard and even cut the roof of my mouth. Also, one of the cookies was misspelled (my daughters name for her first birthday). I mentioned it while paying at the store and it was brushed off. The owner was super nice and communication was great but I guess I was just a bit disappointed in what I got, especially for the price.EDIT:I really appreciate the response! While I did mention that my husband could eat the misspelled cookie, never once was it offered to fix the mistake.

Amazing service and delicious baked treats from Megan at Simply Yummy Bakery!!! I was so lucky to have found Simply Yummy Bakery prior to our wedding in 2016. Megan was so friendly and easy to communicate with, asking all the right questions to ensure our wedding cake and cupcakes were exactly what we wanted. Since then I have ordered baby shower cookies and a 6 birthday cake smash cake from Megan and it's the same service with a smile every time! Megan's work is tremendous! She made beautiful wedding dress shaped cookies for a bridal shower we are having - we just picked them up and once again, her work far exceeded my expectations. We've ordered from Megan a few times in the past and know they are not only beautifully decorated, but scrumptious too!

First time ever ordering custom cake! Megan was super hopeful, and did not disappoint for taste and design! The two cakes was a hit at the party. So thankful it turned out great for my sons first birthday !I ordered a vanilla cream cheese cake for my sons smash cake. And the two layer cake was chocolate cake with chocolate ganache buttercream and cookie dough buttercream.

Megan did an amazing job on my engagement cake. Not only did it look beautiful, but it tasted amazing. I had so many guest compliment on the taste of the cake. Megan was also quick to reply to any of my questions and followed my reference picture to a T! Thank you again!

This unassuming bakery is on my way to work (at the nearby high school). Buy local! My spouse is a picky baker. This business uses top-tier ingredients… and she noticed that immediately. I’ve already tried their chocolate cupcakes (quality icing), mocha cake (plate it, and let it warm up for best results), and 4 pc chocolate brownie (the clerk wouldn’t sell us the display models [she cut them from a small tray]). Megan & crew’s final challenge = will their butter tarts meet my spouse’s expectations? Stay tuned…

Great experiences time after time! I have gotten my last few birthday cakes from Megan and they have all been awesome! I've given Megan a picture to work with and she has been able to replicate the cakes flawlessly! They look great and taste even better! Have recommended to many friends and family!

My mom ordered a cake from Simply Yummy for my convocation. It was a wonderful way to celebrate and I thought the cake was beautiful! The decorations are three books with my programs of study, my university crest, and a grad cap that matches the one I wore on the day of. I'm so impressed with how elegant and realistic the decorations were (I couldn't bear to throw them out when the cake was done, they lived in my fridge for over a week!).

After trying a few local bakeries with a picture of the cake I wanted for my daughter's 16th birthday, Megan was the only one who was able to make exactly what I wanted! Her attention to detail was amazing, and my daughter was THRILLED with the cake! Megan was so patient with the back and forth on colours, flavours etc. She was even able to accommodate last minute cupcakes I added to the order. I would definitely order from Simply Yummy Bakery again. Thanks Megan and team!
