Being in Dubai, wanted to have my daughter of Year 13 improve her English language skills both in Reading and Writing, so she could improve her grades. After an initial assessment test, a tailor made online 1:1 program by Sylvan Learning Centre in Toronto was offered and it has been a great start with an amazing teacher focusing on Reading skills and another teacher focusing on writing skills. Looking forward for my daughter to overall improve her English which not only could help her grades but also make her more confident to apply for Canadian Universities. My 11 year son had missed several months of school this last year due to a medical condition. We started working with Sylvan to get him caught up from all the school work that he had missed. Ishrat has been a blessing to us. She has been so accommodating and understanding of my sons situation and continuing health challenges. The ability to switch from in class to on line on has been very helpful for us. His teacher Mrs. Iman is very kind, and my son really enjoys his time working with her. I also appreciate that she sends homework home, so that I can further help him in getting caught up. It is an organized and structured environment, and we are very happy with our experience there.

My son (grade 3) started with Sylvan 2 months ago. He was way behind in his reading and it was impacting all aspects at school. After just a few weeks, his confidence has grown, he feels proud of the work he has done after each session and I see a complete change in attitude towards reading and homework. The teachers are friendly but also challenge him, and the centre is accommodating with our schedule. Very pleased with our experience with Sylvan Georgetown.
