Nice, cozy little theatre! Their smaller room is very intimate and worked brilliantly for the piece that I attended. Not too familiar with the usual programming; the piece I saw was quite the accessible, contemporary adaptation of a medieval work (Sapientia, performed by the Scapegoat Carnival). Very interested in seeing more of what performances they offer in the coming season! Also seems like a very affordable space for rehearsals and performances. The lobby is cosy, with a few couches and a table, potentially a good space for a mixer around performances.

Great local Montreal theatre on the Main, keeping community and independent artists at the heart of urban creation and performance. Killer Fringe Festival! 30 years and counting!!!

The shows are well executed and highly entertaining. The acting is incredible! The room could use air conditioning, as it is very hot. Otherwise, the staff is very friendly, and the venue intimate. But I can’t say enough about the quality of the live shows. They are impeccable!

Unfortunately this venue is small, old and tired. Desperately needs updating. The seats are old flip down seats taken from some other theatre from decades ago. There’s no AC so if you go in the summer expect to be hot sticky and uncomfortable. Too bad because none of these failings have anything to do with the performances presented here but still adversely affect the overall experience.

I had the opportunity to help on a production of Sweet Charity that was produced at Mainline’s theater by AUTS. The staff at mainline was so kind and helpful. The lobby was the perfect place for intermissions with couches, tables, concessions, and alcohol. They also have a really cool smaller theater which is great for smaller productions and band performances. A small bathroom and lack of accessibility are the only thing stopping me from giving the full 5 stars.- @snack_morgan

Cute little theatre, very intimate with about ~100-120 seats. Old but comfy and great stage for comedy.

Two lovely small theatres with staff who are very kind and clearly passionate about what they do. I’ve seen 5 plays/musicals here and love the small intimate experience. They have a little bar with alcohol (sometimes), coffee, tea, chips, and soda for before and after most shows and during intermission.

We really enjoyed the spoken word show we saw here. All the performers were great. The venue itself has a lot of character.

These people are my homies. I love the Montreal fringe Festival and all of its spirits that float in the ether. They unsupress the suppressed. They are released in all forms of catharsis of the mind and body. Jello making
