My first appointment today at Health First, all of the staff were wonderful! Very friendly and helpful. Dr. Brauner checked my eyes and was very easy to talk to and explained things to me. I would definitely recommend them!

Last week, I went for a routine eye exam. Prior to this, I had noticed a significant deterioration in my vision - but at 76 and a diabetic, I accepted this as my new normal. During the preliminary testing, I mentioned this to the technician - who was very attentive to my concern. Next, I met with Dr. Saetre who examined the images carefully and called for a second round of tests. She identified a suspicious dark spot and immediately recommended that I see a specialist. It appeared to be a tear or the start of a detachment of the retina. Recognizing the urgency, at 7:30 am, two days later, I was at the eye clinic at the Rockyview Hospital to see Dr. Savage, an opthalmologist who quickly identified the problem and confirmed Dr. Saetre's diagnosis. Thankfully, he decided to operate immediately. By 2pm that afternoon, I discovered that my vision had improved by at least 40%! I certainly appreciate the tenacity and training of the technician, the prudence diagnostic abilities of Dr. Saetre and the skill of Dr. Savage to restore my vision. I

I had a severe eye problem and the clinic was able to accommodate my last minute request for an appointment. Without this appointment I would have had to go to hospital emergency. The clinic is clean, staff is pleasant and efficient. Dr Sauer was thorough with his examination of my eye and prescribed appropriate medication to treat my condition. Dr Sauer has a friendly, efficient and thoughtful chair side manner. Dr Saurer and your staff thank you for your assistance.

I've been a client of My Optometrist" for many years and would like to recommend this practice to anyone who is researching optometry clinics trying to decide where to go. I had an eye irritation I needed help with, and I got booked for an appointment at this beautiful clinic the same morning I called in. All the staff were efficient and kind, creating a very welcoming and professional office. My concerns were treated with respect and I felt listened to. I’ve got the care I needed and I’m really glad I chose to come here.

When it comes to the exams and professionalism of the staff I would give 5 stars. Dr. Randall Sauer is knowledgeable and explains things in an easy to understand way, supporting staff is friendly and quick, ambient is clean and well organized, equipment's seems to be well maintained and updated (important for precise results in my experience). However, exams are only good as the after service experience, which means converting the exams into glasses, contact lens etc, that's where the problem begins. For the first time in years wearing glasses and attending different clinics I was not provided with the prescription after finishing the exams, I was told I could not purchase contact lenses unless I pay the training program (which has to be schedule for a different day) on how to wear them, so I ask you, what was the point of the appointment? got the exams but could not get a prescription and was only allowed to buy the contacts if I pay for training ?! I even mentioned that I might have to undergo a surgery in the next couple of months so I asked if there were options to buy the boxes motnhly as the situation might change in the short term, but I was given the option to buy a year/worth of contact boxes and exchange them later - what if I wont need them anymore? - Ok, so I asked them about replacing my glasses instead as a backup for now - no trainning needed right?! - specially considering my current pair was broken and I was wearing a backup that was in bad shape, when I asked about getting the glasses I was told well

All people I came in contact with were very friendly and focused on taking care of the customer's needs. Dr. Bernadette loves her profession and it shows in the care she provides. I was greeted promptly by the receptionist upon entering. The atmosphere is bright, clean and welcoming. My consultation with Skylar was very informative. Skylar was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly.

The staff are all friendly, professional, and helpful. I have Dr. Wilcox for my eye exam and she is so nice and made me feel welcome and comfortable. She is very knowledgeable and I received answers and reasons (that I never heard before) as to why my eye is dry and irritated. Thanks to her, I have other alternatives to fix the issues. Thank you as well to Angie for being so patient and helpful! She helped me pick out frames that would look good on me, gave me a free eye drop sample, and a good solution for the dryness of my eyes. This location is also clean and has a wide selection of frames for eyeglasses and sunglasses!

I recently had my Dad in to get new eyeglasses and update his prescription. Gord helped him pick a stylish pair of frames from their extensive selection and we even stayed within our budget. My Dad is in assisted living and the glasses were ready while I was away. Gord actually delivered the new glasses and fitted my Dad with them. I personally have used this business for almost 30 years and usually make an appointment with whoever is available. All the Optometrists are friendly and knowledgeable. Great service overall.
