He arrived at the house without a ladder tall enough to reach the roof and said he could only do a visual inspection from the ground. Not acceptable considering how important the roof is to a house and he knew it was a two story house. When he got in the house he visually inspected some of the house and not very thoroughly. He looked at the appliances without opening or operating any of then and said they looked serviceable. Then he left after about an hour. Don't recommend Dave Brice to anyone.

Dave was super to deal with. I obtained his services in doing a home inspection for a place that I had an accepted offer. He showed me the areas that should be dealt with immediately and others that could be dealt with at a later date. He was very thorough and I knew that he was working with my best interest in mind. I would obtain his services again should I need this.

He gave me a comprehensive report with pictures and took the time to explain it and answer all my questions. He made me aware of some potential issues in regards to our air quality and suggested ways I could correct the problems. I would use Dave’s service again and I recommend him highly.

Not professional, nor an expert at construction or knowledge. Fails inspections on homes which were later deemed acceptable minor issues which were able to be resolved with a fraction of this inspector's estimated and projected capital expenditure. Also proclaims to be an expert in many fields he is not. Would not recommend or use again.

Dave completed a home inspection on our new house. We were able to have the time off work to attend the home inspection. Dave was very thorough. He took the time to explain any issues/concerns with us and show us right then and there. Definitely recommend.

What a terrific company! Pacific West Home Inspections is truly the BEST! I have used Pacific West Home Inspections 3 times now in the Okanagan area over the past three years. Dave Brice was absolutely fantastic, and thorough, and so detailed (and patient with me 'cause I asked a million questions). He was a knowledgeable educator as well as an inspector. He was very free with his advice, open-mindedness and recommendations throughout the entire inspection process. Personally, I learned a lot from him when buyng these properties for investments and personal use. The Reports he generated had a 6 page summary, and a further 50 pages of detail. Dave took many photos on site, and he used those in the Report to illustrate items/issues that needed to be addressed. He also used the Report to recommend things to watch out for in the future, or to upgrade in the medium term. An excellent report, professionally managed. A price that seemed very reasonable considering the money he was able to save me in the end. Great service. So I would definitely recommend this Pacific West Home Inspections to anyone.
