Okotoks Off Leash Dog Park

Love this park, friendly crowd and amazing facilities. The views of the mountains are beautiful

Great off leash park! Looks like they maintain the fence. There are dog bowls around and a few water jugs at the front entrance.

My dogs love coming here...lots of space to run and play

Nice big space to walk ur dog. People are friendly and clean up after their dogs. Okotoks needs to duplicate this in the south end of town and also a spot near the river for access to the water

Great fenced off leash dog park. I made the mistake of thinking that the paved walk around the storm water was part of the dog park until I found the actual dog park gate lol. It's reclaimed land from Nexen and is grasslands that have been fenced in. Walking the storm water loop and around the actual dog park twice took 45 min. Friendly dogs and owners. There are dog poop bags and water bowls with water jugs (big thank you to whoever keeps those filled up!). If you want to sit down, there are a couple of benches but lots of really big logs to sit on. There are bird houses along the outside of the fence and the garbage bins are located on the outside of the fence too, but are accessible from inside the fenced area- so clever! The garbage removal team doesn't have to drive into the park to clear out the trash! Highly recommend this park!

Hey pet owners. Pick up your pets poop. It's a mine field of doggy doo. Why have a dog when you can't be responsible to do your job.

Had an appointment in Okotoks and brought my doggy along for the drive from Calgary. This was the first park that came up in a Google search and it's wonderful! Really big and fully fenced so no worries. And a gorgeous view of the mountains.My pup had a few good romps before we hit the road back to Calgary.

Why is there no pathway at the dog park in okotoks? It’s very muddy after snow or rain

One of the largest off leash dog parks we have been to. There is a water station and waist bags available but there are no trees so the day we were there it was to hot for us to be able to enjoy the park.

Don't go here very often as I usually walk my dog around the neighbourhood on the wonderful Pathways however it is nice to take my dog there for the social interaction with other dogs once in awhile this is a very nice dog park and I find the people that are there are very nice as well
