Nanaimo Golf Club

I attended a banquet at the Nanaimo Golf Club. The facility is very nice inside with great views of the golf course. The service was friendly and professional.The reason why it got knocked down in score was the bar service was long and it took a while for the tables to go get their food. The food was delicious but they ran out of salmon and rice by the time my table was finally called up but luckily my daughter was able to get some.As for golfing it's semi-private I believe with prime time slots for members. I'll have to try them one day for golf and lunch. Hopefully it will change my score next visit.

This was the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff were professional, responsive, friendly, and extremely helpful. Ours was the first in-person wedding of the summer after Covid, and the venue ran perfectly, leading many of our guests to compliment us on how our wedding came together. The prices were great and the food was amazing. They provide a great selection of food and services, while allowing you to customize the space for your own uses. Would highly recommend this as a venue for any events you are planning.

We had our wedding reception at the golf course this year and it was fabulous!The experience all around was amazing - working with Haley, who is a great person, organized, calm, kind and keeps you on track was such a huge help and relief on the day of as she helped get everything ready and made sure the place was set up when our guests arrived. She helped make our vision of our wedding come true and did so with the utmost professionalism.The food was fantastic!! The roast was a fan favourite and we had many comments from guests that the food was delicious!We also had a poutine bar come out for a late night snack which was a big hit.The staff were friendly and courteous. They made sure the guests were comfortable. The bar staff were amazing at handling a large crowd and were super efficient - they made sure the bride and groom always had a drink in hand!The space and location was beautiful.We can't say enough positive things about having our wedding at the golf course, it was a perfect day and we highly recommend working with Haley, Charles and the team at the NGC.

Nanaimo Golf Club is one of the nicest golf clubs on Vancouver Island. The course is super manicured and challenging. It also drains well in the winter and has some excellent views of the water. It has a nice range to practice your skills as well as pro shop staff to teach you the swing. The pro shop by the way is top notch with products and service to match. Clubhouse food is excellent although when I was there, it was a tad slow in coming. It may have just been a busy day though. Service was spot-on. Nanaimo Golf Club is a semi private course which means they offer memberships but the course is open to the public. Their website has more details. Enjoy ⛳️.

I was there for a weeks long conference and the service was impeccable. The food was on time and tasted great and the venue itself was easy to access, laid out well for sound with NO reverberations from the speaker and just really pretty.

I met a friend here for breakfast. We've been here a few times before. In my opinion it's one of the best kept secrets for breakfast in Nanaimo. One of the best value for dollar. The food is good, the coffee is good, the service is usually pretty good and the view on most days is pretty relaxing.And you don't need to be a member to eat here.Give it a try.

I wanted to show my friend who is new to the area all the highlights of my beautiful city & the golf course is at the top of that list. We thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous view of the manicured grounds and fountain over a beer from the huge patio deck where I even zoomed in to a ferry approaching Departure Bay.
