In short, the ESL (English as Second Language) program is not good. I don't recomment you study English here.Some of the instructors were nice and professional, but there were a lot of students from the same country, I had very bad, two-semester learning experiences here.Most of the schoolmates would like to stay together, say their mother language, and make their strong small groups.No more for me!

Abysmal doctoral funding, administrative disasters (lack of transparency, funding clawbacks, not enough TA-ships and sessional instructor positions for students to earn their full funding amount, unwillingness to answer questions, admin that would rather put up signs to block their office than speak with students), and pedagogy that, at best, belongs in an undergrad classroom. Unfortunately, this feels like a diploma mill. I do not recommend any programs offered by this department.
