Riverside Park Motel and Campground
Beautiful campground, very quiet and peaceful. Lots of picnic tables at each site, campfire pits too. Amazing views of adjacent Niagara River, walking and bike paths right beside the park, lots to see and do. Mini put golf course on site, pool too. Comfort station with toilets and showers on site, immaculately clean and maintained. Small kids playground Fabulous campground, highly recommended.

The campground is picturesque, and the facilities are decently maintained, though a little rundown. At our RV site, the black/grey water connection was broken, so we had to hold the hose down manually when emptying tanks. The biggest challenge we had was with the booking process. Their cancellation policy is abnormally rigid — requiring at least a week’s notice (rather than 24 hours’ notice like at many other campgrounds). We got behind in our travels, and the owner became very angry when we wouldn’t arrive on time, and initially told us we would lose our entire booking. She changed her mind in the end and let us stay, but this is a very negative way to interact with customers. There were a lot of vacant lots when we stayed in early June. To avoid their cancellation policy, I’d recommend just showing up to grab a site rather than booking ahead of time. The area is beautiful, and the campground is conveniently close to Niagara Falls. It’s just the management and their policies that leave much to be desired.

My husband and I have been to this campground twice now. I cannot express how nice this campground is. The staff are amazing. The young people that work there are so polite and helpful. Amazing staff. The check in is easy, the campground amenities are spotless. The washrooms are clean and spotless all the time. The place is nice and quiet. Great place to camp. If you like to walk, you can enjoy the beautiful views along the Niagara River Walkway. I saw for the very first time ever a Bald Eagle in the trees along the trail. At night you will see fireflies around your campfire. This will be my go to place often. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant. We had a great time.

This is a cute little quiet campground. The rates are OK for overnight. They are unbelievable for a season. They have clean facilities. A little soccer field. They are right on the Niagara River. Which is great for those of you that have US data plans because it will work. The sites are nice and flat. And the people seem nice.

Pros: Friendly staff and our family enjoyed the pool it was beautiful and very clean. The sites for RVs and tents had a lot of space to set things up and the horses nearby is nice. Everything is pretty clean. I did receive toiletries in my motel room which was good.Cons: No grab bars in the public showers for those who are disabled or elderly. Motel rooms are ok but the plumbing is not the best the toilet would only flush once and a while. Also the beds are very hard and uncomfortable.Overall our family would likely return again because the overall experience was good and we had a good time. Leaving tomorrow morning and it will be a good weekend to remember. :)

Conveniently close to Niagara Falls, otherwise a pretty barren and spartan campground. More suited for drive they campers than tent camping. Facilities are old but functional. Limited water availability.Outdoor pool is a nice touch though. Mini golf course is sad.Staff are nice though.

Camped here as a base location for Niagara Falls for one night. 20 min drive but we’ll worth getting away from the busy tourist area. Beautiful drive along the lakeshore.Peaceful location, great breeze off the water, nice shady trees, lots of open on a Wednesday.Place could use a bit of TLC but overall good for the price.

Had a great time, very quiet, lots are clean, the bathrooms are cleanOnly downside is that there was pile of woods and a bunch of tables laying on the road. And they only ask for cash and interact transfer

I am rating the motel, not the campground. After arriving i was asked to pay cash, so I did. We were given room #2. No air conditioning. Fine, were given a large fan. No cups, no soap, no shampoo, no fridge, no microwave, no ice..... and and and. The bathroom sink is the size of a dinner plate and has 2 taps. So you can't have warm water. Only hot tap or cold tap. The shower leaked and sprayed water all over the ceiling. I asked the girl for a refund if we only stayed the one night. Guess what, they don't issue refunds! You are getting a 1 star review because after you took my cash you didn't seem to care about any of my concerns. We now are staying at a motel 2 blocks from Clifton Hill area for only 30 buck more a night. WITH everything supplied. The little things are what make travel enjoyable. A window shaker, supplied ice, soap and a couple of plastic cups would go a long way!
