ABC Cork Co.

This is a good company. They have a number of products that we use for our wine and cider. Prices are competitive (some times significantly cheaper than other suppliers) and displayed on the website which is great. Orders arrive very fast. I have found the staff helpful when I have questions.

This company has totally gone downhill in the last 6 months! ( new management? ) Horrible new website created and managed by a 10 year old i am sure. Absolutely no cares or concerns about customer complaints! Products are good and orders are usual complete but website is pathetic and no one seems to want to fix it or even care.Terrible descriptions, often no photos , and horrible to navigate their site.Deserve 0 stars for making changes to a once great website!!!Hate to use ABC Cork now.

Scammers charged my card and never sent the product. Zero contact phone number and refused to reply to emails.

Office manager (I will not mention her name) should stick to trying to run the office instead of trying to destroy the company. I wish the owner would wise up and get rid of her. I ordered two boxes of wine at a cost of $124.00 and she would not let the warehouse ship by UPS, she wanted me to pay over $100.00 to ship it trans. Me thinks she has a few marbles up there to.

Lack of Quality Control. This company cheated me on a product and does nothing about it when a complaint was made. I contacted them a couple of days ago and actually didn't expect that they'd take my complaint seriously (based on what I've read online about them thus far). Purchased at a local retail grocery store: 4 sealed boxes of 150 per box, dual type twist-off or cap on, bottle caps. One package had 147, 3 others had 148 respectively. No mention of weight" on the boxes so it has something to do with calibration of their equipment or lack thereof. Some may suggest that "it's only 2 or 3 caps less than stated" but I'll offer this here and to this company. Truth in advertising as well as in packaging WITHOUT deception or avoidance of an actual serious issue in this day and age. Consumers may sometimes tolerate when a grocery store's scale is off by a gram or 2 and in the store's favour but after millions upon millions of kilograms of produce or vegetables has been sold

Our company has been purchasing wine and beer making equipment from ABC cork for many many years. They have a great selection of items at very reasonable prices, their shipping is quick and the rates are very competitive.Their new website needs some improvement, but overall we are very happy with ABC cork and recommend them to other homebrew supply shops!

I am writing this review because I have never been treated worse then today by the owner of ABC. After 25 years of buying lots of supplies the owner yelled at me out of nowhere for buying my bottles from Jane's Packaging and refused to sell me other stuff. We are small business and any saving helps, i do not have exclusive contract with them and we have many suppliers, ABC was just the most convenient in most cases. I was blindsided by his decision and instead of having a meeting with me or phone/email he yelled at me in front of his front office employees. As entertaining as it was for me it made everyone present uncomfortable. This is not how adult act in normal businesses. I have never said anything bad about ABC to anyone, why would I, it makes no sense. I sell to retail and they sell wholesale we don't even share customers.Judging by the reviews and personal anecdotes I am not the first or the last one to be subject to this abuse. There are many other companies with similar prices you don't have to shop here, plus their new website is atrocious. The employees are awesome though and I wish them good luck and Merry Christmas. If you have no choice and have to deal with management here the son is a solid guy.

I emailed a question at 930pm Friday as the Malt packet was not in the Blonde beer kit i purchased-- they responded at 730am with an answer that it was pre-mixed and no longer required as the instructions said.Though I wish the instructions had been updated or at least the website - the prompt response was impressive. I followed up with an additional question and was answered within minutes.... on a Saturday morning.As long as the kit works; I'll be very happy and buy another!01-31 update.. kit worked .. easy ... bought more!

We have been ordering products from ABC Cork regularly since 2017. Their prices are great, selection is awesome, customer service is always top notch and recently the delivery times are only about 24 hours after placing my order! Couldn't be happier :)

Bought some of their Potassium Metabisulphite for use in winemaking. After using it according to the instructions on the package, my wine did not ferment no matter how much yeast I pitched. After talking with pro winemakers familiar with the chemical, they all said that that was 4 TIMES MORE than what should be used, which would explain why my wine did not ferment. Attempted to contact the company TWICE and have been ignored both times. That is over $100 down the drain because of this company without so much as a response. If I could give a lower rating, I would. DO NOT BY ANY MEANS BUY THEIR PRODUCTS. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB about them because this is completely unacceptable business practices.
