My husband and I didn't stress one bit about getting everything planned in order to attend our friend's destination wedding in Mexico. Kate's emails and information were so detailed and everything worked out perfectly! I would recommend Kate to anyone. My husband and I were so busy with work and school that we didn't have a lot of time to put into planning this trip. And we didn't have to because Kate took care of everything!! We are so grateful for her and we had a wonderful experience!!

I am so glad we found Kate’s Travel to help us plan our destination wedding! I found Kate via some wedding website. I sent one email and we had one call and I knew she was the perfect match for us. I honestly felt like I was chatting with a very close friend. Kate took our must-have list and came back with several resorts to choose from – she included her own personal photos too, which made it a lot easier to pick one of the beautiful locations. Once we selected our resort, Kate was wonderful in answering every crazy question we had. Once our guests started booking, Kate was great with them as well. When we had a minor return transfer issue with Lomas, Kate was super quick to jump in and resolve the issue for our guests.Our guests commented several times how wonderful Kate was with booking their trip. We ended up with 58 people traveling to Mexico for the wedding, and most of them were first-time international travelers. We had the best wedding planning process and an amazing travel partner with Kate. I would highly recommend anyone planning a destination wedding, or a family trip to use Kate’s Travel.

Kate was an AMAZING travel agent for our destination wedding. When we started all we knew is we wanted to have a wedding somewhere warm and tropical. She helped us find the PERFECT resort for our destination wedding, answering all of our questions along the way. She was even able to work with the resort to squeeze in a few of our guests who had waited so late to book that the main part of the resort was sold out. The best thing about working with Kate was how patient and friendly she was in our interactions, from the initial choice of a destination to answering all of our questions about the actual wedding and reception. We can't wait to use Kate again for our next trip!!

Kate helped us in our travels to Jamaica for a wedding. Entire process was very seamless and easy. Kate was responsive and thorough throughout. We had a great time and didn't have to worry about any transportation as Kate had it all lined up for us.

Kate's Travel arranged the wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta for my son & his bride and the 68 guests that accompanied them. Kate does an excellent job with the details and is so helpful when the unexpected changes happen. She gives good travel tips (including the current trends on tipping in other countries). She stays on top of Covid travel requirements and makes sure to provide the important details one needs to know before leaving the country. We didn’t have any idea how to plan a destination wedding when we started this process. All we knew was that we wanted a small beach wedding in Mexico. Lucky we found Kate through another bride that had posted about her Mexico wedding. Kate was amazing! She helped us narrow down the kind of resort we were looking for and gave us pointers on how to pick the best location for us and our family and friends. She was with us through the entire process and made things very easy. We had a few “challenging” members of our group and Kate handled them well and kept us out of the middle. Our wedding turned out beautifully and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. We were so happy with Kate!

Fast forward 6 years, and we found ourselves looking at the possibility of a doing a destination wedding. We spoke with Kate's Travel in addition to a few other Twin Cities-based travel agents. The difference and approach from Kate was crystal clear. For us, customer service was going to be extremely important as 1.) we didn't have a deep desire to really be in the weeds with wedding planning, 2.) we knew we'd have a larger group (60+), 3.) the group would be traveling from all across the US, and 4.) there would most likely still be a shadow of COVID during our wedding and travels.After outlining our wishlist for the wedding and asking for some guidance, Kate provided a detailed list of resort options across the different locations that we were considering.
