This place is really good either for yourself or more people. The noodles go from thin to extra wide and has a big portion each meal. If you're eating alone I would recommend you to get a small portion but if you're eating with your friends then you can get the big portion. There might be a lot of people there eating and you might have to wait a bit, but your food will be out really quick which is good especially if you're hungry.

Beef soup was worth the few extra dollars. It was stellar. I will say there was a bit too much fat for my liking, but the hand-pulled noodles are amazing. There are only 5 or so choices, but they're great. Places like this will make very few items but make them so well you wouldn't wish for a bigger menu. The staff is nice and knowledgeable, and was able to tell us which noodle to order for what soup. Also, the portions are MASSIVE. A bowl could comfortably feed two. The one possible drawback is the line outside, but we were seated within 15 minutes. Overall, lovely place!

Never seen Chinese noodle shop lineups onto the street when pass the restaurant but it is worth the wait. Noodles are good and quality is good also. Large bowl of noodles soup is a lot. It is even better with the combo, egg and some veggies.

Delicious, authentic noodles in the heart of Chinatown. The fresh hand pulled noodles are perfectly Q and hands down the center of every dish here. The beef was perfectly tender and sliced thin, and the soup was light, bouncy and flavorful. I could not stop eating. Portion sizes are extremely generous and the price is right.

Great Lan Zhou noodles! Much better than some of the ones I had in NYC.I'm not too big of a fan of the texture of hand pulled noodles but the broth was amazing. I recommend ordering non-spicy so you can experience the broth. You can add chili oil yourself to make it spicy. Lines are long during rush hour but moves fairly quick!

Great food. Line looks long but moves quite quickly even at peak lunch rush hour. The ability to customize your noodle thickness and the spice is excellent. Very cool to watch the noodles get prepared.Portion sizes incredible. I came with an appetite and a medium was the perfect size but I'd you've had breakfast then maybe a small is enough.

Oh boy, do I have a recommendation for you! If you find yourself in Chinatown Montreal, you gotta check out this spot. Sure, the line-up can be long, but it moves quickly and is so worth it! On Monday during the lunchtime there was no any line.Let me tell you about the star of the show - their special beef noodle dish. You get to choose from seven different noodle thicknesses, from thin to extra wide. I went with the number 3-4 and it was just perfect. And get this - the soup portion was HUGE! So, if you're flying solo, go for the small, but if you're feeling extra hungry or have a friend to share with, the medium and large will definitely do the trick.Now, let's talk about the taste. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the amount of meat they give you is very generous. I was impressed!As for service, it was lightning fast. Our food came out in no time, which is always a plus when you're starving.All in all, I highly recommend checking this place out. Be prepared for a bit of a wait. But hey, good things come to those who wait, right?

With Lanzhou noodles the hand-pulled noodles are the heart and soul of the dish, which this restaurant makes very well. The broth was nothing too special, giving you the option to add chili oil for the iconic red color. You can choose what thickness of noodle you want and the sizing options are very generous. As a big eater even I struggled with the largest size which could easily feed three normal people.

The restaurant is located in Chinatown in Montreal. People mainly go there because they make the noodles right there, as shown in the photo. Therefore, their noodles are fresh. The food was good, not excellent, but good! The service, however, did not live up to the food! There was one nice and polite gentleman, the other 2 we saw were so mediocre! As of they didn't like their jobs, though I appreciate it gets crowded and they can get tired, so let's blame the management for that. All in all, it's worth trying it once.
