Poor service. I must have called 10 times and left two messages. It seems that they let phone calls go to the voicemail system and then get around to answering calls at the end of the day. By that time, we found another company that answered the phone (novel idea, eh?) AND delivered the material we wanted. When we did get a call back at 5:45pm, I told her about getting material elsewhere and her response? “Good”. No apology, no explanation, only “good”.

Pretty happy with my mulch. Delivered the next day. They don’t answer the phone so I recommend you just show up in person. They probably need more staff but, I guess that is challenging these days.Update: Got another 15 yards delivered called at 11:50 in the morning. The mulch was at my house by 1:10. Happy happy!

The most unexpectedly horrible experience. I pre-arranged a pick up of black compost. Upon arrival at Black Gold, I was met by an already frustrated and angry woman who continued to berate me for anything she could think of. The staff were clearly overwhelmed with customers, but the unleashing of anger and attitude from the woman running the loader left me dumbfounded. Black Gold Landscape supply should be your last consideration for compost or soil. Wow.

This is an averaged review between 1 and 5. It got a one for taking our order and credit card details, then the day before the scheduled delivery, we called to confirm delivery for the next day only to be told they had no inventory...so our prearranged gardening crew had to find extra work.They now have stock and it was delivered the next day. Now we have a big pile of dirt in our driveway not knowing when our gardeners can return.It got a 5 for a quality product.

Very God to deal with, most helpful even do mixes as asked for. I rdermost years from tem be it mulch or specialized garden soil. I'd recommend this company for any soil or mulch as you'll be happy you did when you see your garden flourish.
