Very caring counsellors. I have been to two of them and both tines it helped me deal with some of my issues and weaknesses.

We ended up getting here for Christian" counselling /therapy and it was a bitter experience. I couldn't find any "Christian" element in the whole process. I don't think they have any concept of God or God can change situations or in forgiveness etc..... or the power of God. Absolutely no God element.Not sure this was particularly about one person in my case. I am still trying undo the damage that was created personally and spiritually.I think they should remove "Christian" from the name so people won't be deceived.Giving one star because there is no option for zero star."

CCS is a compassionate and safe place to receive counselling services/help. I have been grateful to be counselled by Jon Stanley. He models kindness and respect to his clients, and his insights, observations, and incisive questions have been instrumental in my healing from various traumatic experiences in both childhood and adulthood. For someone who was hesitant about counselling, my experiences at CCS have quelled and challenged my prior misgivings and misconceptions, respectively. I have been, and would continue in recommending Jon as a counsellor to others.CCS is also compassionate to clients because they offer the option of a sliding scale- fees are proportional to one's gross monthly income.

Really thankful for the services provided by CCS. Accessible location, fair pricing, friendly staff. Facility is a little outdated but don’t let that put you off.

I believe by sharing MY experience with others (through an honest review) I can somehow deter another human being from potentially being broken the way a particular counsellor left me. Seeing a therapist here changed my life.I've always looked for a therapist who is kind and wise. Kindness is easier; most therapists are kind - though not all, and only half are empathetic (at least in a way I find comforting). And more than that, wisdom is difficult to find.I am so glad I had the privilege to find both at CCS.I can't recommend this place to everyone or guarantee everyone will have a good experience, because therapists are all about finding a good fit. But I do think this centre tries their best. I've seen two therapists from this office and received great counsel. My regular therapist was very dedicated to her work. She remained neutral (to not judge), provided different narratives for me to consider, and guided in Christian principles and truth. She saw me through many difficult hardships, chronic issues and acute challenges, and helped me to eventually grow to be able to stand on my own two feet. It does take time and work (2.5 years for me), of course. And it was worth it all.I am forever grateful for this place.

Always warm and friendly. Even if you don't have an appointment they are willing to see you and will schedule you in.
