This place never disappoints, couldn't wait until the store reopened as I desperately needed a few pairs of shoes.I was so excited when I heard Mateo was finally open yesterday so I went to buy some new shoes... One in particular I need to share is Brand Name Hogl, they are three inch heels, beautiful and honestly feels like I'm walking on a cloud.I have been buying shoes from Mateo for years and almost all the shoes I try fit like a glove.This store is one of the few places I can go to as I have a wide foot and they really accommodate.During Covid, I have bought so many shoes online but had to return them all... not sure how people buy shoes online by the way (they never fit right nor do they look like the picture - they come and look cheap).So happy Mateo re-opened, they never disappoint, staff is so attentive, accommodating and just a pleasure. Thank you!

I went in today and the saleslady although serving another customer said she would be with me in a minute. She served me quickly and I walked away with the boots i wanted. Different stock to the usual chain stores and catering for business women.

Buying shoes is not just about finding the right style. It can be difficult to find shoes that are the right fit, the sales person here was extremely knowledgable and helped me find shoes that were the perfect fit, comfortable and matched my style. Mateo has the finest selection of classy and comfortable footwear for every occasion. The Geraci's are so helpful and knowledgeable of the many designers that they carry. I would highly recommend Mateo to anyone looking for that perfect shoe.

Beautiful selection of quality footwear in a elegant shop! Had a lovely experience shopping here. It felt like a private shopping experience since traffic is down in the path during pandemic. Highly recommend and will be visiting again soon.

Mateo Shoes has the best selection of shoes and the service is superb. Toni, the owner, knows her shoes, and what I really like is that she is honest about how the shoe fits and looks on me! Toni truly cares about her customers and goes above and beyond to be of assistance. If you can't get to her store, order on line or do curbside pickup. This store deserves your attention and your business.

I ordered Aquaitalia boots online for my wife and, received them 2 days later. Order processing was quick and easy, she absolutely loved them. My wife usually shops at the store downtown, and can't wait to go back

The Manager at this store is extremely rude and the products are low quality and extremely over priced. The customer service I received from this store was horrible. I had purchased an extremely expensive pair of shoes less than a year ago and within 8 months the sole of the shoe was falling apart. The Manager of the store took no ownership and refused to help me fix the shoe. As well, he was extremely rude in discussing it and flat out told me that I was wrong and any damage of the shoe was my fault for not wearing it properly. I will definitely never be shopping at that store again.
