Hidden Valley Ski Resort

Terrible experience for my daughter. She went her school. Enrolled in lessons as expected. She’s never skied before and when she fell down for the very FIRST time, her instructor would not help her up. Instead kicked her ski over (many witnesses there) and it hit her in her other leg leaving a bruise the size of an orange. Completely disgusting. Find instructors with some respect for all skills levels please.

Amazing little place and the price can not be beat! We had lessons on our first day and our instructor Ian was great. We will be back for sure and will be requesting him for our next lesson :)

My son tried skiing for the first time. His instructor was Adam from England. He was patient, and great with the kids. He also played games with my son as well. Instead of just teaching them the skills all the time.

Visited this hill Saturday - not what it used to be.Stars should be better but number of areas (lifts) are closed and that impacts the training and usability of the hill.5 out of 5 for location5 out of 5 for staff friendliness1 out of 5 stars for lift availability - impacts graduation from bunny run to a lower faster hill ( you can walk up ) was what I was told4 out of 5 stars for food, they did their best with what was left as the site was closing down for season3 max out of 5 for being able to teach kids due to the lofts - tbar and the other area not being really open due to lifts being broken or unstaffed- I consider this a bit of false advertising .See photos!!!

Great day at the hill yesterday! The employees in the rental shop were awesome and thank them for helping out with our equipment!Amazing day with a toast to all the employees!

Keep this hill alive!! Cypress Hills is the prairie's best, and this winter I've enjoyed chairlift conversations with ppl from, Med Hat, Swift Current, Lethbridge, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Australia, Paris France, Britain and India. It's a fun little hill with lotsa bumps. As a non-hockey family, we find Hidden Valley Ski Hill to be the only interesting winter activity around here. It closes too early, Mar 19th... and because its a government run organization with predetermined schedules, it has zero flexibility to extend its season even tho another month's worth of snow rests on the ground ... it sucks that they shut down so early, as an extension would increase profits and the hill's viability to the bean counters. For the last couple years they've threatened skiers with permanent closure. Please use this hill while we can!!! .... before some desk jockey genius decides to redirect funds to a wax museum, abstract art piece, or a fancy new downtown bench instead .....

I had the opportunity to spend the day at the hill with my grandchildren when they went with their school. From the time they got off the bus until they hit the slopes the staff was amazing! Neither had skied before and the instructors were great and the kids had a wonderful day. I was very impressed with all the staff; kitchen/canteen, rentals, instructors and safety. Great place!

Great hill, for the prairies. Too bad the t-bar was closed. I also found it bizarre that they were grooming in the middle of the day/week.
