As a filipino the other filipina hairdresser made racist remarks against black people in our own language. When I told her not to make these remarks she began to defend her self by saying her friends are from Ghana and she was friends with them even though no one wants to be their friend. She began to talk about how I have no right to tell her what she was saying was racist due to her most likely being older than my mom and saying that she has been working for over 20 years while I was “only” a student. At one point she handed me the brush and told me to comb my own hair and how lucky I was that no one else was there otherwise she wouldn’t have untangled the knot in my hair. I would have left however she shampooed my hair and it was all wet during winter so that wouldn’t have been possible. All I said was “Please don’t say what you’re saying because it’s racist and not good” because she repeatedly said “your hair is worse than black people’s hair, how do you even comb it?” She also said the price was 29 at first and the final price ended up being 42. Racist hairdresser and a horrible representation of the filipino community, along with a lack of transparency in pricing. DO NOT GO HERE.

My hair was flat and dead, The front hairs of my face looked like they got trimmed with a weed whacker! The lady here did a great job. Wish i knew her name, she brough my hair back to life, fixed my front hairs and got rid of my split ends .Hopefully I can show a before and after on here. I really enjoyed being here. And I think Im gonna come back in the future for some highlights. We'll spent 47$ for my hair that's 24+ inches long. Paid 50$ cus I was very satisfied with my hair. Great job!

The only stylist who knows how to cut hair is EDIE. She is very good - but the others - I don't even think they went to hair dressing school. I had gone to one of them - before I found Edie - that other stylist cut the hair crooked and left strands of long hair hanging on my neck. What a mess. If you can't get Edie to cut your hair - I suggest you leave ASAP.

Very Rude and unprofessional staff ( Awet)I went for a walk in to have my hair done few months ago and one of the staff present told he can't attend to me as he's waiting on someone else.So today I booked an appointment with Awet and did a follow up 2hrs before coming, only to find Awet with someone else .Instead of apologizing and being professional Awet rudely told me that that's a business and I was late and he does not care.I had to walk out angry and frustrated after driving all the way from unicity only for a hair cut.

Love having my hair cuts done here. They treat very well. Hair cut includes a wash and head massage, great customer service.

Best hair in the city no bad comments I have nothing but awesome comments I been getting my cuts from the owner for 2 years now never lets me down he's my number 1 hair cutter In the city 29 bucks well wroth it did some catching up today hair looks great think the wife we'll give me some xoxox now

Visited mesh hair a few weeks ago. I wanted a wash, cut, caramel highlights and style. The wash and cut went well but she left my foils on way too long. From previous experiences with other hair stylists, they check it frequently especially if I'm not going straight to blonde from black. Finally after I've had the foils on for about 40 minutes,she washes it out. When I got back in front of the mirror I looked in horror as my hair had literally dissolved and was falling off in chunks. Nobody seemed to care!!it's pretty common knowledge even amongst non hair stylists that when you bleach hair you need to apply toner or color on top and that was never done, had to do it myself!If anyone reading this has curly hair, you know that it needs to be detangled from the bottom to the top so it doesn't rip your hair out. the lady proceeded to rip my hair from the top to the bottom I explained to her needs to be done from the bottom to the top and she didn't listen and neither did the other stylists that came to work on me. The only response I received was, know what I'm doing"The style itself was all right I guess
