I completely enjoyed my one meal there last week, as the food and service were both excellent! I enjoyed a few of their signature tacos, and liked all of them. Our server Catherine was an absolute all star, and was so friendly and professional. Very cool spot tucked in the country side. Merci beaucoup!

Great place for tacos and beer, just the thing to grab a quick bite after a full day at the beach. Unfortunately we felt like the tacos were a bit overpriced, we payed at least 7$ per piece. Usually we have 3 tacos each (me and mu husband) + a drink each, so we price adds up quickly.There was lots of cilantro and radish in each of the tacos so my husband didn't enjoy that too much as he said that addition over compensated for taste. It was fine by me.Overall it was a nice place to eat, the tacos were decent just not for the price. There are lots of cute diners around to see that will be better priced for a bigger amount of food.The servers were super nice to us! They were very attentive and kindly translated the menu to us to English as we don't speak any French.

This is a must-go to spot! The food is outstanding, the choice of beer/ wine is A-1, the service friendly and the atmosphere has a cozy and happening vibe. We were recommended to try it out and were blown away at the amazing experience. Looking forward to a return visit!

Small restaurant with a lot of character, offering gourmet Mexican food and unique beers. Friendly service, interesting menu, warm fireplace. Perfect place to go after visiting Val David park.

Very delicious tacos and great service. We tried pork, chicken, fish and beef tacos and chips with pico de gallo. We absolutely loved the chicken tacos!! Everything was cooked perfectly and the sauces complimented the meats very well.Our servers and host were very kind and polite and explained the menu to us.Overall, great experience and highly recommend!

La Mapache was the highlight of my trip to Val Morin. That the home of my new favorite Mexican restaurant is in the Laurentian Mountains is almost as counterintuitive as Le Mapache itself! There could not possibly be a more casual and comfortable restaurant on the xc ski trails anywhere in the world. The folks who run it are friendly, funny, and serve great beer! They also show creativity, imagination, and impeccable taste with their food. In over 20 years of trying to abide by the Ornish Plan to combat heart disease I have never enjoyed a restaurant where the staff and kitchen were so responsive and skilled in personalizing their food. Thank You!

Quaint converted railway station on the p'tite train de nord close to the public beach on lac Raymond. Had delicous fish tacos with a pint of local brewed beer also delicious. Good prices, friendly staff, well kept garden/ terrace.
