I would highly recommend the Vaughan Recovery House to anyone seeking treatment for mental health and or addiction. The treatment here has truly changed my life. Thanks to the kind staff and counsellors, I’m now completely sober and am feeling brand new.

A family member of ours was struggling for years and had been to several facilities which. Is a story all onto itself And had relapse after relapse we had all but given up hope when someone referred us to CFFH we made an appointment we were met by the most professional and pleasant people possible. The treatment went incredibly and I can honestly say they saved our members life and ours for that matter. Grateful is too small of a word for what we feel for this incredible place who’s professionals went above and beyond the call of duty and made sure the process worked. These folks go the extra ten miles to help and truly do care. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking treatment. Our family will have a Merry Christmas thanks to you all.

CFHH has literally helped change my life forever!! The staff has been an absolute blessing to me so KIND and loving and WILLING to help with any of the many needs that come from me and all of the people in recovery here. Patient, understanding and always willing to do whatever it takes to meet our needs and nearly all of our wants. The program director literally gave me divine revelation through her teaching and I will be forever grateful to this institution!!

⛔️Be aware!⛔️If I could give 0 stars I would. This facility preys on and takes advantage of desperate families who don’t know where to turn to help their loved one. They require a 3000$ (non refundable) down payment before they agree to speak with you about the facility options, what it entails or what their protocols (or lack there of) are.It cost just about 30,000$ for a 6 week stay at a TINY, rundown, mouldy farm house that provided no professional or personal security for their clients.There is a consistent lack of food in the fridge and dinners are always precooked and brought over as leftovers from their sister facility.The phone the clients use to call home on is so broken and distorted you can barely hear your loved one on the other end of the line.They have one therapist on staff who sees each client privately for one or MAYBE two hours a week. The rest of the groups and programs are run by inexperienced and discernibly under-qualified 20 something year olds, that are not required to have any medical background to gain employment.The lack of communication from staff to family regarding contact is extremely alarming.When our loved one was brought to Vaughn house we received no phone call or update about their well-being for 5 days. You are told you’ll receive an update on your loved one within 24 hours of their arrival. We called, texted, and left message after message during the first week to no avail. You are also supposed to receive weekly updates from the therapist and interventionist pertaining to your loved ones progress, how they are doing, etc etc. But instead they don’t call, and after many failed attempts at contacting them they continued to ignore us while our loved one was there. After that issue was addressed they made it seem as if it was a problem on their end, they took responsibility, seemed apologetic and promised communication would improve. Unfortunately we still weren’t receiving weekly updates and were continually ignored and disregarded in our attempts to reach ANY staff at the facility.It is also extremely important to mention this is NOT a medical detox centre nor do they have the qualified staff, medical equipment or means to be one.If your loved one just needs distance from their choice of substance in which they abuse then maybe this place could potentially help them. But if your loved one needs any form of REAL accredited medical or psychiatric help for their addiction do NOT under any circumstances give this place your money or your trust.Drugs, cellphones and god only knows what else regularly make it through the doors with new clients due to their complete lack of security as I earlier mentioned. Your loved one isn’t safe in their hands. Don’t fall for it. Please, please be aware. Do your research. There are plenty of amazing and qualified rehabs out there that will take care of your family member. Sending love to anyone dealing with an addicted loved one. It’s tragic enough on it’s own without having an establishment try to gouge and take advantage of an already vulnerable family.ADDED: the message the facility responded to me with is a clear representative of their lack of ability to take any initiative, or even taking any time to read or care about anything to do with their program. I clearly stated I was NOT a client. I was writing this review on behalf of my partner. Goes to show the lack of awareness and ignorance has not changed. They can’t even bother to read their reviews and respond accordingly.

If you're looking for a new lease on life, this is the place to go. They have wonderful counsellors that are some of the most committed and compassionate people I have ever met. I sincerely recommend this location to anyone looking for a light at the end of their tunnel.

Like many before me, I was consumed by addiction which was stripping away my life quickly. I was in desperate need of help. Feeling scared but determined and finally having the resources to seek out treatment, I spent 45 days at the Vaughan Recovery House during the spring of this year. As expected and through no fault of the facility, my first 3-4 days were very tough but thanks to the attentive staff, they were able to assist me through the detox process to the best of their ability. After overcoming the physical effects of detox I was ready for the next step. Armed with the will to break free from addiction, the daily classes set me on a life changing trajectory. The counsellors were terrific and were able to zero in on my issues. Many of which I were not aware of. The experienced counselling staff were able identify my own strengths and weaknesses and with their guidance, I was able to focus on and improve what I was lacking while also gaining the necessary tools to help with the recovery process. There are many more examples I could offer but overall if the person is willing to put in the effort to change then I would highly recommend this facility. I am 5 months into my recovery and have regained much of what I lost and still climbing. I have my life back but armed with a new mindset and outlook all made possible from my time spent there. I should also mention the facility manager Lisa is amazing at what she as well. She was able to resolve many issues that couldn't be dealt with at ground level with kindness, respect and professionalism. Her meditation sessions is something to be experienced as well. Amazing!!Thank you again CFHH for helping me get my life back and stronger than before . Id recommend Vaughan Recovery House to anyone ready to take that step to recovery.

There was no way anybody actually gave anything more than one star for this place. If I could do zero I would. I posted something elsewhere and I have received numerous responses from people saying the same things happened to them or people they loved. It is nothing but a cash grab. The only thing it does is put a barrier between a person and their substance. But nothing is taught, there is no “Care“ at all at this facility. And they always try to make people leave or kick them out because, of course, they made you sign something at the beginning stating that even if you leave early they get to keep all your money. Should’ve been a red flag but they prey on desperate people and we were desperate.Can’t wait for their typical bs response… “We have no record of you ever being here or being in contact with us...” Get a new line. looking so forward to Karma.

Unfortunately we were sucked into this place. Us Wanting to help a family member we showed up to a run down gated farm house, drove 4 hours to a facility we did not feel comfortable leaving a loved one at.They wanted a 3k non refundable deposit and now I understand why. We wanted to bring our loved one to a facility that would help him grow and feel comfortable, unfortunately we felt extremely uncomfortable from the moment we arrived onto the property.

I went to this very unqualified place in 2021, please do yourself and your loved ones a favor, if you want to get better do NOT go here, they have had people and staff die at the two facilities they own, one staff member died due to a drug overdose, another patient died due to lack of proper care, the fact that this facility is still running and charging people the amount they do is criminal, the head of stagg julia was recently fired, i could go on and on about how unqualified that woman was. This place is absolutely the worst save your money and look for proper treatment with qualified people who actually care

Now, I am writing to you to confirm that CFHH Vaughan Recovery House is a great place for residents and their Recovery processes. It is a good place to learn how people with addiction problems how much have changed. Staffs and manager are very professional and thoughtful about their clients and jobs.
