Have been trying to reach a Rick for 2 days with no call back or follow up. Have a time sensitive matter for a client and the urgency is not being taken seriously. Appraisal was done with many missing comparable properties at a valuation without adequate support.

As a finance professional, I deal with appraisers, analysts and consultants every day. Intercity Appraisals is among the worst companies that I have dealt with during my career. I will be making a professional standards complaints against them for the following reasons: 1) the appraiser who performed my appraisal is a candidate appraiser and failed to disclose that fact (as required by CUSPAP) during written correspondence; 2) they failed to perform a physical inspection of my property as required by CUSPAP; 3) the company indicated a fair market value that was approximately $100,000 lower than BOTH the BC Assessment AND a third party AACI, P.app. appraisal that was commissioned by a different Charter Bank.I would describe the overall response of the company to concerns raised by me and by my broker as intransigent as well as rude and unprofessional.

Terrible experience with this company, in particular Richard Sieb. He spent 10 minutes in our home and submitted a very inaccurate appraisal based on year old comparisons. We had to do our own leg work to provide current comparisons and request a re-appraisal. Even with that it was a complete waste of time and money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

My experience working with Intercity Appraisal was excellent. The office and appraiser responded to my messages in timely manner. Despite having issues with contact person they still delivered the report within 24 hours. Very happy with the service I received from their office.
