The festival is splendid! Wonderful poetry, fine food and drink, fabulous venues, gracious hosts, and a lovely city. This is a decentralised festival - it takes place in cafes, patisseries, restaurants and pubs. One of the great beauties of poetry is that it deals with the depths and heights of experience, and this festival is joyful without being frivolous. It bears the political conscience of poetry calmly and seriously. There are several days yet - don't miss out!
