Great place for auctions- they have a good mix of brand name stuff as well and other things. I love how detailed the descriptions are, the numerous pictures and the fact that they normally provide retail value and a link for the retail purchase of the item. This makes it easier to figure out value, read reviews and get more details.I have bought from them twice, one was shipped at a reasonable rate, the second time was in person pick up. I used the text system to waitlist for pickup and it worked really well. Everything was super efficient. Their emails are detailed and provide all the necessary information. There have been a couple of listings where I requested additional information ( details started items had wear but no image to judge it) but never received the information unfortunately. Other than that, stellar service and products. I will definitely be back.

By far my favourite online auction. The descriptions are accurate and they stand behind what they say. I have been a repeat client for a couple of years now and I tell everyone to check them out (just don’t outbid me) ;)

Customer service is subpar, the products that I purchased were slightly off the description that I was given but they were relatively intact. I don't think I would work with them again.

Great place, very friendly and accommodating. I had items I didn’t know about from way back, and they had them with my current items ready to go, and waived the storage/late fees. Highly recommend this auction place, will be back for sure!! Thanks mr big deals for amazing customer service…it’s rare these days!!!

The auction listing marked as new unopened item did not match the actual item they shipped me. Sent me a broken item with missing parts and refused to provide a full refund or ship me the missing items I paid for.

Response: I contacted you 31 days after picking up the product not over 40 as you stated and if your inspection missed the significant damage the business should take ownership it’s about good customer service not the bare minimum your policy dictates. I have never experienced another business admitting they sold a faulty product but not offering any remedy. Also I have NOT consented for you to share my personal transaction details as you so carelessly did, consumers have a right to privacy.I purchased a product from them which stated the packaging was damaged but the product was not effected / new condition. The box was previously opened, packaging was marked up and the product had a large dent so I contacted customer service. They were quite rude and stated it’s my fault for not reaching out within 10 days. Be aware their product condition is completely inaccurate, after they get your money they are completely unwilling to help.

I've been shopping with Mr Big Deals since 2018 and 3 locations later I'm still a huge fan. Customer service has always been excellent for me. I've had no issue communicating pickups or holdovers during covid by email. Lately I've been using the daily waitlist because I can't guarantee what date I'll be in the city to pick up and its been pretty seamless. I've even missed the cut off and called and let them know I'm coming and I'm prepared to wait if need be. Items are always as listed, I've only gotten 2 duds which were as-is items so they were a gamble from the start. Full disclosure I've also bought as is items that were fine. I'm an avid auction shopper and truly they rank in my Top 3.

Really thought this place would be similar to another auction house I frequently go to for years, due to the positive reviews, but they aren't. The other offers 30 day money back no questions asked.First time I purchase from Mr. Big deals and they gave a completely different washing machine than the one advertised in the auction. A much inferior smaller one than they advertised. I won't mention the condition, because the point is I received a complete different model.I emailed them and they want me to drive all the way back so they can only give me store credit!Other auction houses give a 30 day money back guarantee on all products. Look for those ones. No chance of being ripped off. These guys lied about what they are selling and want to me to work for them as delivery person and pay out of pocket, to only get store credit. So they screw me over, waste my time and keep my money and I still didn't get what I bid on. Right...If you have issues with any of these auction houses, or any store in fact, file a complaint with your Credit Card company. Dispute the transaction or file a complaint with Consumer Protection Canada, or the Better Business Bureau.There are laws, they can't just stamp 'as is' on anything and not follow the laws.

Beware, don't use your real email to give true feedback, hibid is not that fair place for your customer right or safe place for your personal info. That is always your fault on hibid, protect yourself.Always ask more details as much as possible. Ask for pictures of real item inside the box. Never trust screenshot or box picture.

Amazing place, great people, outstanding service! I would definitely recommend for affordable options of shopping. They have all sorts of items, usually all in working conditions.It’s easy and fast, and pick up is also quick. You would have to register via their website for the auctions, but that’s also easy and secure with your credit card information. Good luck!
