Smokey Hollow Motel & Resort

We had a family reunion at Smokey Hollow for the long weekend and it was the perfect place to stay! The hosts are amazing and go out of their way to make your stay special! The rooms and beds are very comfortable and the facilities (pool, fire pit area, large yard) add to the enjoyment of being there! We used the Pavilion Common Room for our reunion and it was wonderful. There is a well stocked kitchen and tables, chairs and couches for gathering with a group, as well as a fireplace and TV.We highly recommend this place, especially for groups. Erica and Annik were wonderful hosts. Incredibly gracious and kind! Our extended family was here for a wedding on June 3rd, 2023. The rooms were all spacious and clean and both were available to help with anything we needed, suggestions on things to do and places to see. We were incredibly fortunate to be able to use the pool, which for me was my favourite. Thank you again for going above and beyond!

Had a fantastic mini family reunion at Smokey Hollow! The owners were so accommodating and helpful. The pavilion was perfect for our family of 20 to cook, eat, and play games. Rooms may be in need of an update but that process looks like it has started. Rooms were immaculate with newer comfortable beds.

We just returned from our three night stay and we were quite happy! The staff were all super friendly and helpful.The rooms are small but the deck onto the backyard space makes up for it. We were also in a non renovated room so I'm sure the renovated ones are even nicer! Nice to have the BBQ'S to use and new AC units. Pool is large and well heated. We also really appreciate being able to bring our small fur baby, that makes traveling for us possible and easier. If your looking to stay away from the complete chaos of the main townsite and don't mind a 5 min drive into town, than this is a perfect location for you. We also didn't hear any excess noise from the main road, which I was concerned about. We look forward to seeing even more progress that the new owners will undertake over the next few years! We'll be back!

Annik and Erica are the most amazing Hosts. I've stayed twice in the last month and the rooms are sparkling clean, the amenities are great and most importantly, the owners are amazing! You will be thrilled to stay here!

I love this hotel, it's like a cabin! Each room has its own little deck, there's a big back area to explore, watch the bears. And it's close to the park!

Smokey Hollow is our new favourite retreat! Our room was clean and bright. The outdoor fires pit is amazing and we spent the day tubing on the property. The pavilion is amazing. A large open communal space with a fire place and the comfiest of couches. The owners are lovely- can’t wait to come back!

Smokey Hollow may be the Riding Mountain area's best kept secret! Erika was welcoming and friendly from the time we called to book right through our entire stay. We stayed in the Cottage Suite, what a perfect place for a family getaway! The Pavilion offered us the flexibility to celebrate together with multiple families. Both the pavilion and our cottage suite were well stocked with everything we needed. Even the little touches of the tubes available to use on the hill from our room down to the fire pit was a great touch! We absolutely will be back, and will be sure to tell our friends! Had a great time at this place. Everything was nice and clean and the people that run it were super friendly and great to deal with. We even could take our dogs with us which was awesome.

We rented the Pavilion for a birthday party; the place was perfect! Well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen, lovely garden suite, covered porch with great space inside and out that accommodated our group perfectly. Service was top notch from booking to check-out. Highly recommend!!
