Besides being the law society of BC, and all that entails the have a cafeteria open to the public.They serve a variety of things but also have a section with Indian food, specifically butter chicken. That's what people come here for, there are often lines (don't worry they move fast).Don't expect anything spectacular but you can eat for just under $10. For the price it's pretty good.

This organization is corrupt they are a farce they are there to help protect bad lawyers . You make a complaint they tell you to not reach out to them they will reach out to you and than never do and then they drop your complaint because you have not reached out to them. Full of bad people. Don’t waste your time . They will do nothing for you lucky if you even get a call back

Homophobic institution. Beware of LK. She is biased and prejudiced and will not take a complaint and investigate it properly. Really horrible society that allows rampant homophobia and discrimination. Disgusting and shameful organization.

Criminals. My wife obtained a fraudulent custody order via John Chandler JD who is married to the social services lawyer Brittany Crowe who worked on our case. On the phone the society said this renders the order moot and to file a complaint. Everything was on track. Then last nite I emailed our social worker advising them that I filed a complaint. Today not 12 hours later the society sends me a sudden decision denying the prima facie facts of fraud. Which means the social services are in control of everything. Which means our children are being kidnapped and harmed with this office's blessings. Shut down the govt now to protect the children.

I complaint here because of the lawyerviolated the Rules of Professional Conduct, plagiarized articles, verbal abuse, and dishonest.I hired a BC lawyer. I payed the lawyer the money to complete the entire case. After a while, she sent me a first draft that has most of the information wrong. Seems like she is plagiarizing someone else’s work. I wanted her to fix the errors but I have difficulty getting reply from her. Later, I require her to calculate and return the fees of where she didn’t complete her work.I received a reply from her. “We can not assist with you. You can no longer message this user. Rahma blocked you.You can no longer message this user.”After I make a complaint ,because she wrote and first draft that was full of mistakes. I require her finish her job and apologize to me. But she was very rude and she spread false comments and verbal abuse about me on the internet. The Law Society Investigators say she draft wrong paperwork, but they can’t help with me.They never gave her a warning to improve her actions. I believe that this lawyer doesn’t care about whether I make a complaint to the Law Society or not, because she knows that the vast majority of complaint letters do not lead to a hearing and formal discipline of the lawyer . The law society should doing best and reinforcing fairness for every case.
