Paradise Inn

Overall, not a bad place to stay. However, owners/managers are not on-site; there are prominent stickers in many places, some warning of fines for relatively minor offenses which was not very customer friendly; the beds are too soft; and, one group in our party never received the check in details.

Check in was an experience. Apparently I should have received a code for the door with instructions for self check in. But I didn't because I booked through booking.com apparently. We had a good weekend here and would stay here again because the room and linens were clean with is a deal breaker for me. I can handle most other things. Little bonus of the coffee maker with coffee, mini fridge with water, beer and ice. Was expecting a view of the beach and lake but it's actually the road then a large parking lot with zero view of the beach. However, sunset is still beautiful from the balcony. Great location for those with little ones that will go to the main beach. This place could use more tables to eat at on the deck. We had a table for breakfast and we were looking forward to having our dinner that we ordered with wine and a sunset view but ended up balancing food and drinks on our laps from muskoka chairs because the 3 tables that were there that each seat 6 people were occupied by 3 people each. Would be great if they would add some bistro tables or picnic tables on the grass. Overall we would stay here again.

A very clean and quiet place to stay. We enjoyed a couple of days in early October. The location is across from the beach with many local places to dine, shop and hike. The sunsets are magnificent and we had a wonderful getaway! Thank you, Paradise Inn!

We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. The location and convenience of Paradise inn was unbeatable. Clean, well equipped room and a common kitchen area was just perfect with 2 kids. The sunset from the deck was spectacular and we played family board games while watching it in the evening. Added such a nice touch to our stay. We also rented a SUP while we were there and it was very convenient.  Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better place to book our vacation and will highly recommend Paradise Inn to friends and family!Thank you Randy and Judy.

It was a great stay for an off-season. The room is clean perfect for a family. Location is also on a beautiful beach-front. We will definitely come back here.

We had an excellent short getaway vacation in Port Elgin, staying at the Paradise Inn. Check-in was easy and safe. Room was clean. Our second floor room had a good little fridge, microwave, and pod coffee maker. Beds were comfortable. Great view of the sunset. Good early autumn walking along the beach and neighbouring streets. We enjoyed the food at the Queen's Inn and Wismer House.

I was so happy to check in here for a three night stay, but then the noise started at about midnight. Doors slamming every few minutes, strange sounds like furniture being moved around (??), showers running at 2:30 am through really loud plumbing, people walking heavily through the hallways — I have no idea why it was so loud here because there aren’t that many guests. I was woken up every few minutes until about 3am, which was really frustrating. But absolutely everything else about this place is perfect! The rooms are lovely, the balcony is perfect, the fridge and freezer are surprisingly spacious given their small size, and the bed was so comfortable. Everything was very clean.I just wish the building was quieter at night. My sense from talking with the other guests is that some of the rooms’ washroom doors don’t fit well in the frame and have to be slammed, and the unit I am in is right above the front door which ALWAYS slams and has a loud wood deck entry. And the building’s construction amplifies every little thing.EDIT: My last two nights here were a dream, and no significant issues with noise. I still don’t understand why that first night was so bad, other than perhaps it was one group of guests who could not settle down. You do have to get used to regular daytime noise (hollow floors, kids, etc). But I would definitely come back!

We had the presidential suite with another couple. It was perfect. Clean spacious room with all amenities provided. If you have kids, this is the perfect spot. Only a short walk to the beach. We would definitely book here again.

Loved the Paradise Inn. We were the only ones there on a cold November weekend. Everything is very clean, with a mini-fridge in the room. Contactless check-in with easy. I love the location--right on the beach. Beds were comfortable. I will definitely be back.
