We engaged Argenta Painting in April/May 2018 to do external painting of our home and to repair some wood siding. During the competitive selection process, Argenta submitted a comprehensive and clearly articulated estimate as well as insurance and WorkSafe BC documentation promptly. The submission process gave us a feeling that Argenta was a serious contender. In fact, their cost estimate turned out to be very accurate.We were impressed with the tightly-run and well managed family business, with Ricardo Sr. acting as both foreman and carpenter on the job. Ricardo Sanchez Sr. was proactive, detailed oriented and took initiatives whenever necessary. His son, Ricardo Sanchez Jr. was the Project Manager. Junior was our main contact point, and he was very much on top of the progression of work. He delivered his contract with us without any hitches.Even though there were a couple of rainy day threats, the job was completed within a week, on time and on budget. The crew was polite and punctually arrived each morning, as promised, We are pleased with the quality of work, and would be comfortable recommending Argenta’s services to other home owners. All-in-all, a good experience and we would consider using Argenta again as and when we have another painting need.

I recently hired Argenta to paint the interior of my home. After years of wear and tear from children, grandchildren an assorted pets, several areas of drywall needed to be repaired before painting could commence. The Argenta crew did an outstanding job of patching, priming and painting everything so that the interior of my home now looks brand new.From start to finish, I found everyone with Argenta to be polite, professional and totally reliable. Argenta painted our 6 unit house (strata) and didn’t a wonderful job- they prepared the house for painting, managed repair of rotted wood areas and simply did an excellent job. Their quote was the best of 4 received and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We have rehired them to oversee maintenance of exterior until next painting project. Super nice workers as well...can’t say enough about how good they are!

We contracted Argenta to paint the entire exterior of our 3-story Kits house. They provided a fair quote and stuck to it.When we needed small-scale carpentry repairs on some exterior railings, they brought in a skilled carpenter who did equally good work (side-job - not covered in the quote). When we later asked them to fill in two small 'building envelope' gaps in the highest eaves - virtually unreachable - they not only did that but made the finished product look classy, as well. Very impressive!The Argenta team was a pleasure to work with - very professional, highly responsive, and good communicators at all times.I would recommend them to anyone faced with a similarly challenging paint job!
